Homeowners, I am a licensed electrician and want to leave this review as a concerned professional. The wiring that is supplied with this fixture is not adequate. The wiring provided is close to a 22 gauge wire, similar to the wire you would see running to a phone line. As I’m familiar with the lamp holder provided, I was able to replace the small wire with a larger gauge wire to feel better about using this in my daughters bedroom. If you are unfamiliar with what you are looking at when ordering this fixture, maybe look elsewhere. If you are comfortable disassembling the lamp holder, and upgrading the wire like I was, it is a decently constructed light fixture. ... show more

Ok so it doesn't feel premium in terms of parts and pieces. Lamp shade is the best part. But it's totally operable and looks amazing for the price. LOVE the starburst light it gives off on the ceiling, perfect for our nursery.
