I simply love these 4k night binoculars. I would say the only thing I would improve would be the buttons on top, they feel cheap and are a bit sharp on the edges. What I love about it is the light is super powerful for night vision. I simply think this is a plus for night binoculars, this light is super bright. The light is important to me because it is what makes the image in the dark clearly visible in the display window. And this light is extremely bright and has a long range for brightness. With 850nm this binocular provides high contrast and gives better details of the image and is often brighter than 940nm at least by 30 to 40 percent brighter. It’s smart considering that it has a built in TFT Ips display screen. This is an added feature, and many cheap night vision goggles use low-quality TN screens that often look washed out. IPS, fixes that. So, it is more consistent with the brightness and provides less washing out even when you tilt the device. Which gives me a more natural looking screen at most angles. It has three gears for night vision with the IR filters- IR1- keep the sensor from flooding with too much IR light, great for indoors, close range viewing, reading signs or labels, avoiding overexposure, conserving battery life. IR5- Is the sweet spot for night vision with good clarity, good brightness, good clarity, good range, balanced stealth, good battery life. It’s great for outdoor scanning, medium distance viewing, IR9-850nm-longest range gives clearer detail, better performance in total darkness than 940nm. These IR night vision goggles work great. You can easily identify animals at 50 yards with it, and spot animals up to 80 yards. It has a few different IR brightness options, with 1, 5, and 9 being the brightest. There is a focus-adjusting knob for the left lens so you can adjust the focus to close or far. The top buttons light up a blue color so you can easily use it in the dark. The only thing I do not like is that there is a strobe mode; for me, there is really no purpose for the mode. The size of these night vision goggles is good, so it's not too big or small, and it is not overly heavy. It's overall a decent night vision device.

I mean, it’s a 50$ camera with IR LEDs on the front of it. It does what it’s supposed to do for its price point. The screen quality is a bit lacking and the image kind of lags behind as you pan left to right with the unit. The part i am actually impressed with is how bright the IR LEDs are. I was expecting the actual night vision to suck, but it’tnot bad at all. It can indeed let your look around a wooded area when it is pitch black outside. The instructions are a bit confusing due to translation, but it was easy enough to figure out. The focus is adjustable at all. It feels pretty durable like it could take a drop or two. I wouldn’t trust the lanyard it comes with though. Just hold it with atleast one hand at all times. It charges pretty quickly and worked for about 2.5 hours for me before inhad to recharge it, butni also didn;t record or take pictures.

I'll preface this review by saying I had no expectations for a professional-quality set of night vision "goggles" with these. But I did expect to be able to see at night in the darkness. I hear plenty of activity every night at my bird feeding station, and I assume it's mostly raccoons (and I don't care--they can have the food, too), but I really have wanted to see what's happening. When I fired these up, I was plenty surprised to discover I can actually see what's happening out there in the darkness, and it's clearer than I expected. And I can record the activity, as well. The unit is easy to operate, thought the buttons feel a bit cheap. But I think that's to be expected with a night vision device that costs as much as this (instead of one that costs multiple times more). It does seem to work better when there is complete darkness, with no light sources around. Looking forward to using this unit more and seeing what I can discover out there in the dark.

I was super excited for this item. It seemed much more affordable than other similar products, but knowing how it works I now understand why. Pros: Comes with a nice bag, microfiber cloth for cleaning, SD card for photos/videos already pre-installed, and a lanyard to hang the goggles around your neck. The battery charging was quick and seems long - but I’ve only really used this for less than 30 mins. Cons: the usb charging cable is so short, make sure you’re able to rest the goggles on a surface to avoid it just hanging free from whatever you’re charging from. I am also dubious about the fact that it is “4K” quality. Every time I’ve attempted to use it, the picture is so grainy. Honestly, I can’t really get it to focus well in the dark even fiddling with the settings/lenses (which aren’t really labeled and aren’t intuitive). There is an intense zoom, but it feels difficult to navigate. There is also a flashlight right next to the main buttons that makes it so easy to accidentally press (which would defeat the purpose of trying to watch something stealthily in the dark, especially the freaky strobe setting). The design itself just isn’t ideal. The goggles are light, but feel bulky in my hands, and I don’t feel like they live up to what I was expecting for “night vision goggles” - this feels more like a mediocre digital camera at best. For these reasons, I would look elsewhere.

I’ve been very pleased with these Rappet Night Vision Goggles. The 4.5" screen is large, bright, and easy to see, making it simple to spot details in the dark. In fact, the screen can be a little too bright at times. After looking at it for a while, it takes a moment for my eyes to adjust when looking away. After experimenting with the IR settings, I found IR5 to be the sweet spot for most situations. IR1 wasn't bright enough for my needs, while IR9 was overly bright and washed things out a bit. IR5 provided the best balance of visibility and image quality. The picture quality is good overall. Photos can appear a little grainy, but that's just the nature of night vision technology and wasn't an issue for me. The 18X digital zoom was especially helpful for viewing objects at longer distances and made it much easier to identify things far away. The included battery lasts a long time, and the unit feels solid and well-made. If you're looking for an affordable night vision device for hunting, camping, wildlife observation, or security use, this is a great option with a bright screen and very useful zoom capabilities. Highly recommended.

I’ve only had a chance to spend some initial time with these night vision binoculars, but my first impressions have been positive. The unit feels well made with a solid, durable construction that inspires confidence for outdoor use. The large 4.5-inch display is a standout feature. Compared to looking through a traditional eyepiece, the larger screen makes viewing much more comfortable, especially when scanning around the yard or sharing what you’re seeing with someone else. There are quite a few buttons and settings, so there is definitely a learning curve. I’m still figuring out how to get the image dialed in for different lighting conditions and making the most of the various infrared levels and zoom options. Fortunately, the controls are illuminated, which makes them easier to use in the dark. I haven’t fully explored all of the recording features yet, but I’m looking forward to using these to watch the possum, armadillo, fox, raccoons, and other wildlife that visit my backyard nightly. The included rechargeable battery and memory card are nice additions that let you get started right away. Overall, these appear to be a feature-rich, well-built set of night vision binoculars. While they take a little time to learn, my initial impression is that they’ll be a great tool for wildlife observation, camping, and other nighttime outdoor activities.
