Stainless steel has a great appearance. Powerful fan that moves a lot of air (large CFM) which is nice when cooking certain items. The additional lighting is quite useful and I really like the timer and use it almost every time. After a few years, I did have some issues with the controls. I contacted the company via email and was quickly connected with Ben. He worked with me to understand the situation and quickly determined a solution. He shipped some replacement parts that arrived in a couple of days. I installed them as per his instructions and I’m back up and working.     • Powerful, solid and looks GREAT- some installation headaches
I initially ordered the model with curved glass from the same listing- it arrived with the glass piece shattered. I didn’t open the box to discover this until my installer came by, over a month later … sent a note to seller and they IMMEDIATELY credited the purchase, no questions asked. Huge relief, as it was clearly past the return window. A+++++++ on this! I installed this replacement hood ~2 months ago, and overall I’m pleased- especially for the price. The 900 CFM blower does a great job clearing smoke and cooking smells quickly. On high speed it’s noticeable, but not overly loud (around 65 dB)… about what I’d expected… and the bright, adjustable LED lights make a huge difference prepping meals on the cooktop. The stainless-steel build feels solid and finishes out the kitchen beautifully. Plus, it’s nice to have both ducted and ductless options - I’m using it duct-free with the included charcoal filter. That said, the installation instructions could use more clarity; decided to install this one myself, & had to figure out hinge placement / screw sizes after installing it wrong the first time. Then again, I’m no pro; just a determined homeowner- so I’m thrilled it’s up and humming, and it looks commercial grade! The touch controls work well, but they’re sensitive and sometimes don’t respond on the first tap. Pros: -Really strong airflow (900 CFM) -Bright, adjustable LED lighting -Solid stainless steel design -Ducted/ductless flexibility Cons: -Installation guide is vague; plan for extra time -Touch panel can be finicky -Can be a bit noisy at top speed Bottom line: If you want a powerful, stylish range hood on a budget & don’t mind a little DIY during install? I was initially very skeptical of purchasing an off-brand 36" stainless range hood for our kitchen upgrade, but VERY satisfied with the overall outcome, overall price and overall quality compared to our intended KitchenAid or VentaHood brands at 10X the price. We'll see if we still like it after we install the 36" pro stove/range beneath it, but with the 900CFM blower, we'll see if it holds up to its future tasking for use with propane burner temperatures. This unit is pretty well made with thick stainless steel throughout (it's heavy). The stainless is covered with a herculean stick-on protective plastic that took some doin' to get off. The protective plastic left behind some remnants and traces of adhesive that we are still trying to remove. Installation instructions were 'at best' general directions for reference only. The entire installation should not be performed by someone without skill (general skill) to accomplish anything mechanical or otherwise less than a decent household handyman. Perhaps a general contractor would be best for any of the faint at heart. It wasn't hard for one person (me), but tricky and a bit of head scratching went on. It would be best to raise this thing with some help (another helping hand, wife to hand another beer). I did the whole thing myself. The illumination provided by the 4 bulbs is more than adequate to the cooking surface; and with a bit of skill, can be selectively lowered to provide a dimmed night light for midnight raids in the kitchen area. The suction is yet to be fully determined (cooking the big Italian dinner) but the 4 fan speeds are relatively quiet when operating, but has a low frequency vibration caused by a fluttering of the chimney covers on the high setting. This can be remedied by stuffing the lower chimney cover area inside with a bit of the product packing foam. I initially claimed that it would probably look like a cheap "Chinese made" product that would be perfect for a home-reselling remodel and not expected to be used by anyone with culinary prowess. Well, I'm here to tell you that I am excited for the opportunity to cook beneath this hood for many years in the future. Oh yeah, I'm also a Chef. Dicks ... show more

The exhaust fan and lights work great and the unit looks nice. There are dents in both the front and back of unit due to the insufficient packaging. The instruction is BAD, i.e. for the chimney instructions the manual tells you to "install chimney and tighten screws" which screws do you use from the bag of mixed hardware? Do you install top half first or? It doesn't tell you. Doesn't give you a good feel of support when you need it. ... show more

The range hood looks great and is a good deal. I purchased the NAP02-R-30 in April 2022. The lights started flickering after the warranty expired. The manufacturer still helped me, though. They asked me to send a short video to show what was happening and then they sent both lights and an electronics board at no cost. The problem ended up being the board. It only took me about 15 minutes to swap it and the lights are working great again. The manufacturer didn't have to provide free parts and shipping. That was unexpected since I was just contacting them to find out how to order the parts. Great support! ... show more
