The media could not be loaded. Update to my review. The vent was difficult to install. The loud noise was actually the cord that didn't stay wrapped and fell into the vent. Overall, it's a very nice vent that has great suction power.

The only issue I have is with the remote control. I have to be directly in front of the hood and hold the remote a certain way in order for it to work. If I’m anywhere else it won’t work

These fans are very well built and they are packaged better than any other item that I've ordered online. They are beautiful and reasonably quiet for a 900 CFM blower fan. We just added this to our kitchen and it works so well since its touch and I dont have to push anything when my hands are dirty. I just use the back of my hand or my elbow to turn it on and off super easy to to install, the remote control works great and the value for money is worth it!
