It goes without saying that I have owned many shirts from casual to work to dress to tshirts. I have owned similar shirts like this. When I first opened up the package, it appeared this shirt might be compared to the quality of a Tommy Bahama, especially given the price of this shirt. For reference, I like ordering a Large because I generally like the loose fit. However, when I unfolded the shirt, I instantly saw some concerns. Two things stuck out. First, the shirt appeared to be shorter than “normal” and second, it also appeared to be wider than “normal.” When I tried on the shirt, it fit more like an XL or XXL. It was way too big. I also noticed that the shirt was indeed short. I realize this is an square cut hem and does not have “tails” but it is short by a few inches. I can always tailor this shirt more narrow but I cannot make it any longer. This is a shirt that I might now wear much. It is also is probably made from 100% cotton although the label did not say. I did find the stitching of this shirt is well done. If you can keep it from shrinking by not placing it in a dryer, it might last a long time. I cannot justify $46 for a shirt that is not sized correctly though. If it were more narrow and closer to an actual Large and if it were a bit longer, I would have been more than happy to give it 5 stars. If you are in the market for this type of shirt, shop around. There are many that are cheaper and probably a better fit.
