I received it today and I installed it within three hours. The hood itself is nice. I went with this hood after carefully reading reviews for a few hoods. This one is decently powerful enough and quiet as well. It is push buttons instead of touch buttons. Touch buttons last longer. I am replacing a GE that installed in a newly built home. It died after 2.5 years. However, this new one is quiter and has dual fans so it takes out smoke evenly. I cooked a burger for dinner and it was pleasant to see the smoke get sucked away. After cooking my wife walked in and she didn't even smell a thing. Normally my kids complain that I am stinking up the house. What I didn't like: The instructions to install could be improved. It doesn't mention how to remove the metal plates for the vent. Also the outlet plug is designed at the back edge of the hood. As a result I had to slightly cut the cabinet vertical along the back wall. So that the clip that screws the wire to the hood has space for the installation. The holes for the screws were also awkwardly in a different location from my old hood. I had to screw on wood boards to the cabinet and the install the hood into the wood board. The hood is designed for cabinets that are completely flat on the bottom. ... show more

Blown away. I had a ductless range hood for the longest time. Spent the weekend setting up the duct to vent outside and installed this range hood. I couldn’t be happier with the quality. Every other range hood on Amazon seemed to have a touch screen, I was going for more of a minimalistic look. The 3 speeds are great, and works wonders! I didn’t love the 4k lights it came with so went to HD and got 3k lights for it. My ONLY compliant is that the little metal rings around the light seemed to not like the new lights I bought and wouldn’t let it seat the lights all the way in. So I popped off the metal rings, I grinded down the inside of the rings a bit and the lights slid right in. They were ALMOST identical but definitely a little different so I can’t fault this company for that. Overall EXTREMELY happy with this range hood. Should have done this sooner. ... show more

Very easy to do the installation. Not as heavy as the description (my wife and I were able to install ourselves). I made sure to get the conversion kit from rectangle to 7 in round vent. The fans are very powerful and remove all smoke/steam. The lights are perfect for the entire stovetop. I had a question about putting the filters in the dishwasher, and Vivi in their customer service department got back to me right away and said that the filters were dishwasher safe. we traded more power via two fans for noise. A good trade given our culinary uses but the noise is noticeable. Works just fine although the touch screen takes some patience.

This is a high quality range hood. BEAUTIFUL, quiet (even on high, it's not that noisy). LOVE that you can wave your hand to turn it on (special button on front). Highly recommend this hood. Looks so nice with our black and stainless gas range.
