Has a damper flap
Color: Stainless steel
Size: 42 inch
I had a range hood installed over my gas burner stove over 20 years ago and noticed that the air coming from the top of the roof could be felt below the range hood. So it turns out that I wanted one that had a damper flap in it and the range hood had to be 42” in width. Amazon’s AI made it easy to find. This was the only one available on Amazon that fit my requirements. All others did not come with a damper flap and it was impossible to tell from the Home Depot and Lowe’s websites whether or not the range hood had a damper flap. And they were a lot more expensive than this Vikio 42 Inch model. Fortunately, its price came down during the Amazon Prime Day specials. This one has dual fans with hand swiping ability to start the fan but one doesn’t have to use it that way but just normally touching the controls for lights, fans (three different speeds), and on/off switch. It is extremely powerful with two very strong lights and easily outperforms my 20 year old fan. It works perfectly and works very well. Thoughtfully packed by Vikio to withstand normal transportation via truck. About the only thing that could have damaged it was an elephant stepping onto the cardboard box. Very satisfied. No complaints.

Powerful Range hood
Color: Stainless steel
Size: 30 inch
This thing is awesome! Dual fan really moves some air. Some customers complained you couldn't turn the fan off without turning off the power altogether. Well Vikio must have listened because you can select three different fan speeds or turn off just the fan and leave on the light. Problem solved. I didn't think I'd need or use the touchless feature but it has come in handy a few times and works very well. Had a minor issue with one of the filters being dented. Purely cosmetic. Sent an Email to Vikio customer service and received an immediate response. Vivi was more than happy to help and sent out a new filter. Thank you Vivi !! Very happy and would definitely recommend!

Powerful Range Hood and Outstanding Customer Support
Color: Stainless steel
Size: 30 inch
Very happy with this range hood. Installation was straightforward and went smoothly with my wife’s help. The 900 CFM dual motors move a lot of air and are a huge upgrade from my old single-blower hood. It looks great, feels well-built, and the LED lights are a bright enough. Hand gesture sensor is a bit annoying but you can turn it off. One of the filters arrived damaged, but I reached out to Vikio support and had an excellent experience. Yuki was very responsive, communicative, and quick to help resolve the issue. Great customer service can make all the difference, and Vikio delivered. Overall, a great product backed by excellent support.

Good unit. However, it is essential to ensure all is well before installation
Color: Stainless steel
Size: 30 inch
"Inspected by" sticker a joke. Arrived with all screws loose holding fans in place. 1 had actually fallen out. Had to completely remove the fan shroud & fan in order to retrieve the rubber vibration bumper from inside the unit. Pretty difficult to put it all back together. Otherwise, works well & looks great. Fingerprints come off stainless steel easily. Unobtrusive subtle led lights indicate function. Sturdy & filters easily removed.

Vikio range hood
Color: Stainless steel
Size: 30 inch
Nice overall but has some flaws. Humming noise at low speed so we can only tolerate med or high. Standard size is 30 inches. This is 29.5 inches and leaves a gap. Lights have only one setting.

Great range hood, if a bit heavy
Color: Stainless steel
Size: 30 inch
This is a very well constructed range hood. There is one thing that made installation very difficult for me — the location of the power cord. I realize most would be installing under a standard over-range cabinet, but I have a custom built enclosure from an existing old hood. The cord location is exactly under the 2x2 that I needed to attach hood to. So I had to build a custom support for this hood. Once installed, though, it looks great and functions well. The wall switch in the photo controls a "puller" fan on the end of the vent run. So I removed the included damper and use the one already in the existing vent run.

Great product and outstanding customer support
Color: Stainless steel
Size: 36 inch
Bought this range hood about a month ago. As it comes in with a cord that you can just plug in to an outlet, installing it was a breeze. The suction power of this hood is three times more than the one I replaced. It is much quieter even at the highest speed. Very happy with this product. Additionally, I was so amazed by the customer service their customer representative, Vivi, provided me. As I wanted to have a spare set of filters, she assisted me with locating the serial number of the range hood. She needed the serial number to make sure she can provide the correct filters. The filters happened to be not in stock and she won’t be able to ship until about a month later. Due to this inconvenience, she offered me a set of replacement light bulbs. I was so impressed with Vivi’s responsiveness, courteousness and knowledge of this product. I have worked with so many vendors in the past and I honestly have to say that Vivi’s customer service was the best so far. Am saying this not because of the set of light bulbs she offered me, but because of her truly outstanding customer service.
