Dry!
These socks perform as advertised. Use for walks in the PNW on rainy days and my feet stay dry. I think these are better options than buying shoes with waterproof membranes built in.

World's Toughest Mudder Proven!
Size: Large
Color: 1 Pair-navy Blue
Bought these initially for running trails in winter when snow and stream crossings can soak and freeze your feet. Worked as expected. Put them to a real test at World's Toughest Mudder in Florida in 2024... What an improvement these are compared to other socks! Sure, my feet still got wet (I mean, you're swimming, eventually water is going to seep in around the ankles) but because of their snug fit and thickness they don't shift around as much and provide additional padding, both of which prevent your moist skin from getting blisters as easily. Plus they were much more effective at keeping even fine sand out. For Tough Mudders I'm never doing further than a 10K without wearing a pair of these again

Waterproof to an extent
Size: Medium
Color: 2 Pairs-yellow+blue
Did what I asked of them to be fair. I tested it in the tub before taking them out into the real world and I go kayaking multiple times a week. They were waterproof until the water level reached about halfway up my shin. Just where the main color meets the upper color is where the liner ends so I felt water begin to deep down my legs inside the socks. I stepped out of the tub and took them off and sure enough, my ankle was moist, not wet but not dry, and my feet were still dry. So I’d say they are good for hiking in water higher than the foot but not all the way up the sock. Did great and I didn’t expect them to stop water from getting in over the top so they did what they were supposed to do and nothing more. Hopefully this helps!

Great quality and excellent fit!
Size: Small
Color: Ankle-1pair Black
These socks fit my size 13 wide feet perfectly! They are light, thin, and comfortable. I wear them with shoes, hiking boots, and sandals. They are not uncomfortably warm for fall wear. And they keep my feet dry and sweat-free! They seem well-built and to be made from high-quality materials. I highly recommend them!

Very comfortable socks
Size: Small
Color: 1 Pair-blue
Bought these to wear in Florida for the colder weather they had been having. Very comfortable to wear. They are not completely waterproof but they will keep a nice barrier between the chill from the water and your water shoes. Would buy again.

If you’re a runner, try these out!
Size: X-Small
Color: 1 Pair-yellow
I was worried these XS socks would be too big, but they are just small enough. If they were any bigger they would be too big. (In regular shoes, I’m size 6, running shoes or boots I’m size 7, sometimes in dress shoes I’ll be as low as 5.5. If your feet are smaller than mine, I’d recommend going down to the children’s version that this company sells.) I have always lived places where it either does not rain much or doesn’t rain hard, so I’ve never thought it was a big deal to just run with regular gear and maybe throw a rain shell over top. Every once in along while there would be a big storm and I’d get soaked to the bone, but no big deal. However, now I’m somewhere where when it rains it really rains and if I run in the rain, I’m going to get soaked. So, I’ve done that a bunch of times this year and done with it. I can’t wait to try these out on a run. Just testing them out so far, I can tell they won’t breathe well, but if they did, I’d be worried about their rainproof-ness LOL. If I have a choice between hot feet or soaked and freezing feet, I’d take the former. I’m a trail runner, so can’t wait to go splashing through puddles! If the socks do not live up to my expectations, I’ll update the review. By the way, I’m very picky with sock seams and not getting blisters, especially when it comes to running, and I think these seem like they’re going to be comfortable in that way. They are more bulky than my regular running socks, but I wear the ultrathin socks without padded toes or heels. I would say that the thickness is on par or thinner than the running socks I’ve tried on that have are padded. I tried these on with my running shoes and the shoes are more snug, but not to the point of needing to go up to the next shoe size or squishing my toes or feet. I chose these socks over a shorter pair of waterproof socks (both brands recommended by a runners world article) just because the shorter ones will not stop rain from going down inside the sock. These are waterproof and snug over the ankle, so I’m confident they will be great. I also love the bright yellow color for street running to make me more visible. Sorry for the ramble - I’m just really excited to try these out and wanted to make sure I addressed all of the comments other people have made and the questions I had before i bought them :)

Work as advertised.
Size: Medium
Color: 1 Pair-blue
I'm female and wear a size 9 1/2 or 10 shoe. I bought these socks in blue medium for a trip to Patagonia where I would be hiking in wet conditions and getting in an out of zodiacs. Since I read reviews that said that the socks don't have a lot of give, I bought a little bigger size than recommended. Tight socks give me toe cramps. These had enough extra toe room to make them very comfortable wearing throughout the day....but not bulky. I tested them before I wore them by putting my hand inside and running cold water over the socks.... felt the cold but no wetness. They worked great on the trip and my feet did not get wet. Put them in the washing machine on cold when I got home.... let them air dry. No shrinkage. I put my hand inside and ran cold water over them again and same results.... no wetness. Sooooooo..... highly recommend!!

Didn't work for me.
Size: Medium
Color: Ankle-1pair Gray&black
These were purchased on the advice of a friend because they worked for him, but they did not work for me. I was using very breathable hiking shoes on a long hike, almost 500 miles, and these socks were suggested to put on if the shoes got wet, keeping feet dry while allowing the shoes to dry out too. Unfortunately whenever I put the socks on, the moisture on my feet from sweating could not escape, and my feet stayed wet. Also the "waterproof" lining within the sock made it possible for my feet to rotate within my shoe regardless of how snug I laced them up, which I felt made me more at risk for ankle sprains. After a few rainshowers I gave up on these socks, and after rainshowers just went sockless until my feet were dry, which worked better for me.
