Used this as a trolling motor transport stabilizer for my long shaft minkota. It is perfect. Iused stainless steal 3/8 pop rivets to secure it to the hull of my aluminum KingFisher. This Ram mount is serious business. It's much heavier than I though. Works great for a bow camera mount after motor is in use also.     • Great mount for Motorguide Xi5
I have a Motorguide Xi5 60" with their quick release mount on the front of my Crestliner Fish Hawk 1650. Used a Suremount accessory bracket to mount this to and it works perfectly. Really nice mount, all metal construction, and holds the head of the trolling motor perfectly solid. The Xi5 has a composite shaft so I was wanting to minimize the working back and forth of it. An additional benefit is that it adds another point of release in case someone was trying to steel the motor. Also, I can now just keep the collar lock of the trolling motor set and not use it to lock the motor in the up position. Completely happy with the purchase. ... show more

    • Very stable unit for terrova
Used to mount on top of brocraft mount on alumacraft alumatrac to stabilize terrova trolling motor on 2020 185 competitor. In my application it was about 1inch short to use on the oem alumatrac mounting brackets from the factory due to having to “side mount”. The brocraft mount has a flat surface on top.
