  • Very Good and Affordable Inspection Camera
If you're in the market for an inspection camera for a multitude of different jobs then this is an excellent option. The camera is 5 foot in length and its semi ridged meaning you can bend it into shape and then it will stay. The unit has a built in monitor so you don't have to worry about hooking it up to your phone. The Lens can be turned back on itself about 180 degrees and has very good lighting. I'm very pleased with this inspection camera. One thing I have to add after more testing is that this isn't really small enough to use as a borescope because its diameter is too large and the sideways camera is designed to focus farther away then the inside wall of a bore. As an inspection camera it is an excellent tool. ... show more

  • Good build, easy operation
The media could not be loaded. There's not a lot to dislike about this unit... Now I am no professional, I am a hobbyist, but often find myself needing to be able to inspect hard to reach places, around corners inside of devices, etc... It's nice that this borescope comes with a case, as it makes it easy to store in between uses. The mostly plastic built doesn't scream "cheap", it's actually pretty decent. The entire length of cable is flexible, sealed, and just under 5 feet long if I recall correctly. Video quality is very good, though I don't see much of a difference between 720p and 1080p. Menus and buttons are all intuitive and easy to use. It doesn't look like something out of the 80's or 90's. The camera does start to get hot with the light on full blast. I think the maximum operating temperature is something a little above 150 degrees, and even indoors at 72 degrees, after a few minutes with the inspection light on full blast the temperature reads north of 110. I don't think this is a design flaw, it's just the nature of the bright lights. Not sure if other models would be different. With the LEDs on one of the lower settings, the temperature does not get nearly as hot. Some nice to haves would be a little grabber on the end, and maybe a tighter turn radius. Camera turns require a little more than 1.5 inches. If you asked me if I preferred those features for a higher base price, though, I'd say no. Good unit overall. ... show more

  • Almost perfect
This little borescope is great and has come in super handy on a couple of occasions so far. The pictures clear. It's easy to use and easy to figure out the controls without much digging through the manual. It's easy to hold in your hand and control with the other. It's not bulky or heavy. The cable is rigid enough to stay in place but flexible enough to get it around obstacles or corners pretty easily. The camera directional control only works in one direction, which is a little bit of a letdown as I wish you could control it in a full 360° motion. That's the only real negative. I can find about this. Other than that, I do see this has a good value. ... show more

  • Invaluable Tool for Tight Spaces — Crisp Display and Great Control
As someone who does DIY automotive work and occasional plumbing, the Ralcam Dual Lens Articulating Borescope has quickly become one of my go-to inspection tools. The 6.2mm slim probe fits into incredibly tight spaces, and the two-way articulation gives you precise control over the camera’s direction—something that’s absolutely essential when navigating around pipes or engine components. The dual-lens feature is a huge plus. One button toggles between the forward and side cameras, allowing full visibility without pulling the scope out to reposition. The 5" screen is bright and clear with good resolution, even in low-light conditions thanks to the adjustable LED lights. The semi-rigid 5FT cable strikes a nice balance between flexibility and control. It holds its shape well when guiding the probe but isn't too stiff to maneuver in awkward angles. Battery life has also been solid—plenty of juice for long inspection sessions. Pros: Crisp and bright dual-lens display Responsive articulation lever with smooth movement Slim profile fits inside spark plug holes, wall cavities, etc. Sturdy build and solid case included Cons: The articulation controls take a little getting used to No Wi-Fi or app support (though not necessarily a drawback for standalone use) Final Verdict: If you’re in HVAC, automotive repair, or home maintenance, this borescope is worth every penny. It combines precision articulation, great image quality, and a rugged design into one package. Highly recommended for pros and serious DIYers alike. ... show more

  • Works Great – Just remember to uncover the lens!
This is a big step up from the endoscope camera I previously used, which was difficult to maneuver and had a weak light. This borescope is easy to maneuver and the strong light and dual lenses provide excellent visualization even in dark spaces. The screen is comfortably sized with good resolution. It’s also pretty intuitive in its function, and with just the provided instructions I was able to master the basics in only a few minutes. The only issue I had was the instructions didn’t explicitly tell you to remove the lens cover, and it was so small and blended in with the scope that I didn’t realize there even was a cover at first! The whole unit is surprisingly lightweight – I was worried the screen portion would be too heavy for me to comfortably use, but it’s actually very easy to hold and carry around. It comes with a nice rigid case with inner foam padding. Overall, well worth the price and useful for a variety of home and hobby applications. ... show more
