i’m a highschool softball player this is honestly one of the best backpacks for tournaments and game days and just regular practice only downside is that it’s huge and it’s not extremely heavy but it can definitely be weighted down due to how large it is it has room for four of my bats, my cleats, both field and batting helmet, and it also has room for my 20 softballs to fit and my uniform that backpack has been dragged though the field and has no tears it’s extremely durable i think it’s worth yall money it’s huge i recommend for high schoolers and middle schoolers not so much for anyone under 10u none of the straps or zippers have broken and i’ve thrown it around ... show more

This backpack has enough room for multiple bats, large water bottle, helmet, cleats, change of clothes, gloves, batting gloves. My son is a small 11 year old that plays 12U. He had been using a Rawlings Chaos backpack for his gear, which worked well, but there was no place to put his cleats. So guess what he'd forget every time we left for practice or game day?? You got it. The cleats. So, I went shopping for a new bag this season and landed with this Rainsmore backpack. It a great upgrade for my son and it fits all his baseball supplies (including the cleats) with lots of room to spare. Our season doesn't start for another couple of weeks, so we'll see how it holds up. It is much bigger than what he's used to carrying, but it's not unmanageable. It's hard to convey in photos, but the bag is essentially one giant pocket. The main compartment goes the full length of the bag, so if you have a change of clothes or want to throw in a jacket, there's lots of space for that. There's 2 zippered compartments on the front of the bag, designed for the cleats (on the bottom) and the helmet (in the middle). Those are self contained, but they intrude into the space of the main compartment. For the helmet "slot" especially, if you use it, you're going to lose the interior space inside the main compartment in that location. That's not necessarily a big deal, because you can pull the helmet to the outside of the bag and use the exterior strap instead. It's a pretty neat design. (Using the exterior strap will block the pocket access from the outside though.) The main compartment also has 2 slip pockets and a zipper pocket inside, as well as a mesh pocket on the exterior flap. There are 4 pockets and elastic on the sides to hold bats, and a mesh pocket on top of those (one on each side) for holding water bottles. So yeah...pockets galore! It has both a carry handle on top and a hanging hook, so he can hang it from the fence during games to help keep his gear organized and out of his teammates way. So far the one drawback I have is the sizing of the bat pockets. (And it's why I dinged my rating a star.) His 2-1/4" bat fits like a dream. The 2-5/8" barrel isn't coming anywhere close to fitting. It must go in the bag grip side down. My son says that makes it feel like it's going to fall out of the bag when he walks because it moves around a lot more. Seeing as there's 4 slots, I'd have liked to have seen the manufacturer stitch it in such a way that on each side, 1 bat of each size would fit. (I might pull out the sewing machine and try to DIY this feature.) In our photos this bag is holding both of his bats, 2 different mitts, batting helmet, cleats, batting gloves, and his sunglasses, which are inside their own semi-bulky protective case. As stated before, there's plenty of space for snacks, water, jackets, etc. If it holds up for the season I'll be very happy with it, and the price can't be beat. ... show more
