Coated with PVC so it definitely is fully waterproof. Length is good to cover thighs. Runs a bit small. Since PVC does not breathe, I would expect this jacket to be pretty steamy inside so wearing in hot, humid rains for any length of time may be uncomfortable but when you need to keep the rain off this will definitely work. The big design flaw on this is that it only snaps down the front, no zipper and the overlap is pretty skimpy so I would expect rain to flood in between the snaps... and between the top and second snap, it would not lay flat and gapped open so I had to fix it by putting Velcro between the top and second snaps to keep it closed flat so rain would not pour in there... so took 2 stars off for no zipper and snap front not really being the best solution but other than that, great waterproof coat. ... show more

I would expect more quality from such a pricey product. Looks good and protects you from the rain, but the overall feel of the material seems low quality and not durable, time will tell If I'm wrong.

The jacket is very short, doesn't fit well and definitely won't protect against the rain. In addition the seller is supremely unresponsive. I'd avoid buying this, there are many better alternatives out there.
