We have a German Shepherd who has a 10 x 20 kennel, and a small 4 x 4 kennel for our Chihuahua. The shepherd has high energy and wants to play all day, where the Chihuahua just wants to sunbathe and relax all day. Because of this, we separated their kennels. The wind had destroyed the original tarp that came with the 4x4 kennel that we purchased on Amazon for the Chihuahua. This tarp isn’t perfect, but the price is pretty great and it does the job.     • Good Inexpensive Tarp to Use a Tent Floor Base- Happy for Price Point

I purchased the 7x9 Feet 8 Mil tarp to use as a base underneath my tent for camping. I like to add an extra layer below my tent to help prevent holes in the tent floor and also provide a little extra water-proofing. The tarp fit perfectly under my Coleman 4 person blackout tent- and is a good thickness/did not tear or break during the camping trips I took it on (it has been tested on sand and gravel terrain). From a camping perspective it does pack up a little bulky after your first use...but that is just the nature of a budget tarp, and for what i paid that is fine/to be expected. I do not use this tarp 24/7 so I cannot speak to how it would hold up for an extended amount of time in the elements. It is exactly what you think you are getting- no more/no less. But for the price point and the convivence of having it delivered to my front door it works just fine and was exactly what I was looking for. ... show more
