This tarp is not a thick heavy plastic -- it's fairly lightweight, but it seems fine. For the price, and huge size of it, it is very useful for temporary use. The grommets also seem useful--but again for light strapping down. I wouldn't pull too hard on them.

This is a good, average tarp. At first I thought it was over-priced, but then I comparison shopped and found the price to be fair in the current market. The construction is about what I'm used to and it should do the job. Mostly we use these to catch and haul wood chips from a saw mill and it should do fine - when the weather finally allows. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. A good tarp seems like a fairly straight forward product. A solid, rain resistant sheet of canvas that can protect, wrap and defend yard equipment, valuable possessions and other miscellaneous items.. This tarp mostly covers that description with a single small caveat.. The tarps themselves feel fine and although they are not made from the thickest or heaviest material, they work enough to keep equipment safe without leakage, tearing or snags. They do have reinforced corners that are useful for tying down or using bungie cords to bind in place, and while all four corners with their cloth strips are strong, one of the other ringed holes was not quite as strong as one of the metal rings has come away from the tarp entirely. It is an unfortunate flaw because for the price and especially at this size and quantity, they are definitly well worth it and had that single error not occurred, these would be highly recommended.. As it stands though, they are decent, well priced and competantly made tarps that aside from a single unfortunate problem are as good as most I've used before and barring any more issues, will be used again.. ... show more

Ordered this blue tarp for a specific purpose as a covering for items in a pickup bed. I have a mid-sized pickup with a 5-1/2-foot bed and when moving items from point A to point B I wanted a way to cover the load and keep it dry. I ordered the 12' by 16' tarp for this purpose. The tarp is your typical blue tarp with the added strength enforcements in the corners. The reason for the larger size is because I place the tarp down before loading the items. I then wrap the tarp around the load. In the event of rain, the load is completely protected from water infiltration. Time will tell if this tarp lasts longer than the cheaper big box store tarps but so far, it's been performing well. If you need a blue tarp you can't go wrong with this one.
