We bought these because the dogs next door are awful, trying to fight through the fence. These are thick and provide great protection we needed. The reinforced metal holes on the edge were easy to use and are still in great condition. This was a cheap option to a privacy fence which we are planning down the road. The tarps have been up for a little over a year with no issues. They're thick and heavier but worth it. Since putting them up there has been little to no issues with the neighbors dogs. Why did you pick this product vs others?: Yes, it's thicker than other tarps that I've purchased before but still it's not evenly thick. There are many areas that sun light is easily seen from inside due to thinner areas. Pros: Rope around the edges of tarp helps to strength. Plastic edge corners helps to stretch the tarp.
