Although we haven’t had rain to test water resistance, I’m sure it will be. This is a very sturdy tarp at 12mil which we used to cover our patio over the existing metal frame. We chose this white color to reflect sun. Where most tarps are an inch or so smaller than the given size, this tarp is actually true to size and maybe even a little bit larger (we got the 8x10 2-pack.
