This is my second time ordering this item. the first time, I got the wrong adapter on the top, but the quality was good. Overall the second time, I got the right item with the right adapter. I love the elbow and love the locking mechanism :-)

    • Not safe for a kayak
I have an Ascend 12T with stock track system. I bought this at the beginning of 2021 for kayak fishing. I planned on putting my gopro hero 5 on it. At first I thought it was a great arm for a front facing camera. I quickly realized I was wrong. The first trip out it fell 2 times. Luckily it was over the center of the bow facing me, it fell into the boat. about 30 min after putting it back in the track it fell again. The T bolt deal that goes in the track is on the skinny side and has a poor grip in my tracks. Its a great pole for getting shots while walking, or to use as a selfie stick. I still use it for getting B-roll shots. But will never use in a track system ever again. I have an Ascend 12T with stock track system. ... show more

This boom is exactly what I wanted and it wasn't crazy priced. Be sure to get the holder that mounts to whatever your putting it on. This doesn't come with it. Use it for my YouTube channel Wolf's Fishing
