Neat Product-Price A Little Too High

I ordered this while trying to come up with a way to mount my motorcycle chock in our toy hauler cargo trailer conversion. It's neat but wasn't as heavy-duty and large enough for mounting/attaching/supporting a motorcycle chock. As I mentioned in the headline...the price seemed very high for what you get. If it would have been in the $5.95 price range (plus shipping) or $9.95 with free shipping, it would have felt more like a justifiable purchase.

Don't Bother Unless...

Don't even think about using these cheap little plates as they come. You WILL break the tack weld holding the nut on within the first use. You must grind some paint off and weld the nut on yourself with a small wirefeed welder. Just save yourself the extra time and do it before you try to mount them. Or better yet just build them yourself for a superior product and fraction of the cost!

Used it over the weekend to hold down my Ski-Doo. Takes a few minutes to install. Four screws and drill a hole through the deck if needed for the center 1/2" crank down bolt.
