I was initially considering returning this item because these panniers are lighter weight and seemingly less water resistant than I expected. There’s really not much to theses panniers. But, I kept them because I appreciate the simple design, and I think as long as I ensure the top flap covers the bottom opening (note: there’s no syncing function to make the main opening smaller), they should keep water out during a light rain, though I wouldn’t trust this design or fabric to keep my stuff dry in any substantial rain. Anyway, these are some of the only panniers made for the RackTime system, so if you have a RackTime rack, this might be the best option. ... show more

I’ve been commuting on my E bike now for about a year, these bags work perfect. Very lightweight, very good design and quality, can hold a standard laptop bag on one side and then odds and ends in the other, recommended.

Reducing my review to one star - throwing these bags away.... I tried a putting a floor tile on the inside of the bag to stiffen it up and then zip stripped some metal channel to my bike frame to keep the bag there. Ended up having to also zip strip the bag to my frame because the velcro attachment is so bad... Bought these for me and my wife $140 WASTED! Love the top part of the Racktime system. Best method I have seen for ease attaching or detaching the bags. Problem is - the side of the bag that goes against the bike is too flexible. Anything off shaped there it bounces around and will eventually push the bag in far enough that hits your spokes. Happens with my U-lock. Also the velcro strap on the bottom of the back that is supposed to attach the bottom of the bag to the rack is too flimsy. If you have anything in your bag and hit a bump it tears free - now your bag is free to flop around even more. Expected a lot more from bags this expensive. ... show more

I bought these to go with my Specialized Vado e-bike that I use as a commuter bike. They click on easily with the rack that came with the bike and are solid - no movement when riding. Huge improvement over wearing a backpack to carry clothes.
