I’ve always been curious about the many products on Amazon that are branded with bizarre, fake-sounding company names. I was shopping for frosted window film the other day because our neighbors keep doing yard work on the side of the house right outside our living room while my girlfriend is rolling around on the sofa and kicking her feet in the air, listening to records. As usual, Amazon had fifty different versions of the same product, all from brands that you know and trust like Hidbea, Finnez, Lemon Cloud and Nicetown. I chose the product made by Rabbitgoo, mostly because of the reviews and because they’d really made some effort with typography and layout in the product description. My Rabbitgoo window film arrived yesterday and I was again impressed with the design. The package had a very modern black and white logo graphic and was printed on a quality matte-coated stock. The typography was completely different than on the Amazon site, but considering this is the cut-throat business of online window film, I’m willing to let the branding inconsistency slide. At least they’re making the effort. But I didn’t realize how much of an effort they’re making until I visited the website printed on the package. Wow! It turns out Rabbitgoo mostly sells pet accessories (the website makes no mention of window film) and if you click on the “about us” tab, you’re treated to an obviously bogus but lovingly crafted founder’s backstory about Jason, a man driven by love for his dog, Lucky, and his desire to free them both from the misery and suffering of living in a world with so many poorly designed and low-quality pet accessories. Through his passion, wise selection of quality materials and superior supply chain, Jason succeeds. And check out that badonkadonk on the splash page! I don’t care what they sell, I just want to do business with these people. This is why China will dominate the world for the next 100 years. If I'd ever considered getting into the pet accessory or window film business, I'd be throwing in the towel about now. Anyway, as far as window films go, this one is quite good. I used a different brand of film on other windows in my house, but it was more clear and had a granular surface texture that looked terrible when the sun shone through it. Not so with Rabbitgoo, which is very smooth and matte white. It lets in lots of daylight and is my favorite brand of window film. As for the negative reviews... read the instructions, people! This is not a complicated product. If the film "looks terrible" or "fell off" your window, it's because you forgot to remove release liner before putting it on. There is no adhesive, it's just a very thin sheet of plastic that clings to the glass with the help of a little water to remove trapped air bubbles. Remember Colorforms from when you were a kid? Same idea. I've had this stuff on my bathroom windows for three years and it looks exactly the same as the day I put it up.

This is absolutely perfect for Reactive Dog Owners like myself for dogs who are more triggered by sights. We live on a main street so it does also provide privacy as well. I opted for the Pure over the white because I still wanted to get light in and it does. It's not see through at all. I had tried the rainbow-y one from this brand as well, super cute but it's too transparent to help the dogs. Perfect for an interior window I have though! This film is very easy to cut with a box cutter when cutting to the size of the window. It's thinner than other clings I've used before so it clings to the window so much easier! It's very flexible and easy to use if you don't have perfect windows. Last picture, window on the left has the Pure on the bottom and the rainbow style on the top of the window.

It's not hard to use but I didn't realize there was a back layer I needed to peel off before I used it. Lol works great! I got the white color. I didn't have the recommended tools so it's not pretty but it's up and hasn't fallen yet. I think I'm on week 2 now.

My daughters put this on my sliding back door for me because the sunroom makes the inside of our house very hot. At first they were skeptical but I insisted that they do it and now they love it! Totally opaque! It looks absolutely amazing and gives us the privacy we were looking for since we didn’t have curtains or anything on the windows at all. It saved us about $800 $900 on a new door with the mini blinds inside. Super easy installation but definitely better with two people especially with the size of the sliding glass door. Water works better than windex For the application, the Windex dried too quick water, kept it wet. You wont be disappointed.

The media could not be loaded. This product was so easy to use compared to other less expensive brands. This cling is thicker and protects from more types of light than the cheaper brands. The way to make the cling easier to work with is to clean your windows, scrape them with a razor and then clean the window one last time. Spray a lot of water. The more water, the easier it is to position the cling where you need it. The thickness of the cling makes the sheets easier to hold on to while working with the product. We live in a historic home with lots of drafts and spaces for the heat to leak in, so it can get really warm inside during the hottest part of the summer. The heat has been horrible for the 2nd summer in a row. I've tried dehumidifiers, lined curtains, and door coverings that create a barrier from the heat coming in and the cold air escaping. With all of that it was still 81° in my livingroom and it is only June. We will be in triple digits in another month or so. Looking for tinted clings was our last ditch effort before we replaced our air conditioner. These clings are a game changer! Even with our back door open, the temp in the livingroom only rose 1°. I would recommend this product to anyone thinking about tinting your windows. Try these clings before you permanently glue tint to your windows. These clings can be removed and used over again. There are different styles and patterns to choose from. If you like it to be bright inside your home, this particular tint may be a little dark for you. We chose the reflective 2 way tint because we live in the city and we have a new home 2.5ft from our propertyline. We can now leave our curtains open and not worry about our neighbor seeing in our livingroom. It did stay a little wrinkled in some spots though. The wrinkles were actually created trying to cut the cling on a not so flat surface. If you have to go outside to cut the clings to size, you can create a templet and cut all of the same sized windows outside and then bring the cut sheets inside and apply them. If you have a large enough flat surface, use it. It is worth the extra steps. It is way less frustrating than trying to cut it at the window. I do recommend this product 100%. There are so many styles and colors to choose from. I never had to deal with customer service so I can't speak on that. Enjoy your purchase!
