After many years of sheer blinds in six 32" x 32" windows in my living room, we were looking for something to let more light in but maintain privacy from our neighbors house just 8' away. mes through, but privacy is maintained. The rainbow patterns that results from direct sunlight is really cool too. All six windows all look so elegant. As for installation, the other reviews are correct: - Make sure you have a clean window - Have a VERY sharp utility knife or razor blade - Use a credit card, plastic puddy knife or squiggy to smooth the bubbles - Smooth side (the side you pulled the backing off) against the glass - The 'trick' of using two pieces of scotch tape to remove the backing worked most of the time - Line up the top of the window first, then have about 3/4" overlap on left, right and bottom - Don't work in direct sunlight...the water dries faster and the material does not cling as well This is a great deal, and works really well. Just be careful to measure twice, and cut once. Better to make the cuts longer than needed, and trim once installed on the glass.

Perfect light filtering, gorgeous!

uct worked and looks great. It is a cling material (clean window and apply with a little sprayed water) so it can easily be removed if ever needed. It is sort of thick so I think it may even help a smidge with insulation over the old glass, and cutting down the amount of sunlight blaring in will help now with air conditioning stress/electric usage. I used 3 rolls, 17.5” for this project. Took 2-3 hours. Get it long enough or wide enough that you don’t have to piece it together anywhere, I wouldn’t want to attempt that with this material. As someone else said in a review (thank you!), definitely leave an inch or almost inch overage on the top, bottom, and sides when you precut it (I used scissors to cut the piece). When applying, use a sharp razor knife and a credit card to get more precision/focused smoothing and cutting. Clean the window very well and then lightly spray with the water. Start with pulling some of the backing down a bit and then as you work down, pull more and more of the backing off. To remove the backing getting started can really take a minute, so have patience and wiggle a little bit of the corner back and forth to separate it, then easily peel. Arrived quickly. No smell. Nice packaging. Very happy with this purchase and definitely recommend it.

4.9 star review. Nearly perfect!

I've debated on whether to give a 4 star or 5 star review. For me personally, the only thing that I feel like could be improved, is to have gridline backing for easy straight cuts. I don't feel like that 1 thing should decrease a full star on my rating considering the product itself is good quality a
nd does what it is supposed to.(Apparently they do have a couple window films that have the gridline backing. I just didn't realize it at time of purchase) The product itself is amazing and I'm very impressed on how easy it is to install and how well it stays put! It's a good quality product and I would recommend it to anyone. It looks elegant and gives me the privacy I was looking for. I live in an apartment complex and there is a walk way right next to my living room window. People walk past it several times a day. I've kept my blinds closed for 2 years so I could have privacy. This product has made me feel comfortable to have my blinds open to let natural light in, and still have my privacy. I would like to note, that when you install, if you find that part of the window film isn't sticking perfect like the rest, most likely, all the backing didn't peel off. I mention this because when I installed mine, the majority of the film was sticking perfectly, but in one area, it wouldn't stick well at all. After quite sometime of adding more water, taking off and reinstalling, I got frustrated and just taped up the corner that wouldn't stick. A few hours later, I tried again, that's when I realized that a portion of the backing didn't come off with the rest. After peeling off the piece that didn't come off with the rest, it went on easily and perfect!

Beautiful and easy to install

I wanted to add interest and beauty to the side windows of my front door. The pattern on this window cling is so pretty when the light comes through it. It was very easy to cut and install using a spray bottle of water and a credit card to smooth any bubbles out. There is a very thin film on the back
you must peel off before putting it on the glass or it won’t stick. To remove you just grab a corner and peel off. My daughter in law thought we replaced the glass it looks that good. I love it and would buy again.

I didn’t want to completely block out the view out of two bathroom windows, but I needed to still some privacy. I just cut around some of the flowers/leaves so I still get privacy but it’s not just a blunt line across. Looks great and works perfectly! Will update over time if it stops clinging well t

When I first saw this, I thought this was going to be a pain to install. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to adhere to my windows. They look great reduce sun glare and create privacy.

It’s relatively easy to attach, would really appreciate more if the product comes with a scrap board. It’s also easy to remove from the window, leaving no residues. Rental friendly product.

Installed this during the day in order to see the air bubbles better. Used a spray bottle with a bit of water and soap as it says. Since I didn't have a squeegee, I used a credit card wrapped around a microfiber cloth and it came out PERFECT. Love the print, underneath curtains it's not too overwhelm

The film works great for daytime blockage. When the sunlight hits it, it's very pretty. It was a bit hard to cut straight. I found it a little easier to trim to window size before taking the backing off. Speaking of backing, it's an absolute nightmare to get off. They say put tape on both pieces and
pull quickly. That didn't work for me.

Great for sun blocking and heat reduction

It's only been up a few days, but it looks lovely inside and out. It was easy enough to install. I don't know if it might start peeling off or have any other problems, but it seems excellent, and I don't anticipate anything like that. This was used on my living room and dining room windows.

A few tips for others: 1. Make your final cleaning of the glass before applying the film with a solution of 1 part white vinegar, 1 part 91% alcohol, and 1 part water. The glass will be squeaky clean. 2. Since glass frames aren't all straight and/or you desire complete privacy, cut the film in place
using a six inch putty knife and a sharp utility blade. This will give you an edge-to-edge finish. Spray as much water on the glass as you need during the process. Use a squeegee and the putty knife to get the bubbles out. Don't forget to peel the backing off of the film before applying. And the result should be very good. If using a used dull blade, you will likely regret the result. Quite pleased with the result.
