I bought this for a bathroom window that faces the neighbor’s house, and it worked out perfectly. The frosted finish gives great privacy during the day and night, but still lets in plenty of natural light, which was exactly what I needed. What I love most is that it’s static cling, so there’s no adhesive — just spray the window with water, smooth it on, and you're good to go. It came with a little install kit, which made the whole process way easier. I got it up in about 10 minutes with no bubbles or peeling. The size (17.5 x 78.7 inches) was perfect for a small to medium window, and you can cut it to fit pretty easily with scissors or a craft knife. I’ve had it up for a couple weeks now and it hasn’t shifted or started peeling at the edges at all. It also helps with blocking some heat and UV, which is a nice bonus. My bathroom doesn’t get nearly as hot in the afternoon anymore. If you want something that’s affordable, renter-friendly, and actually works, this is a great find. I’m already planning to use the leftover film on a glass door in the kitchen.

Hard to get ALL the bubbles out but you can't really tell unless looking from the side and can't see them from the outside. Really happy and going to purchase for my doorwall in the second bedroom.

Inexpensive. Definitely spend the extra dollar or so more for the kit (squeegee, spray bottle, razor blade). Application is straightforward and requires patience. Although my windows were soaking wet, could not get all the bubbles out. It's most noticeable when viewing from the side. Front facing it looks fine. I pushed too hard with the squeegee though, trying to get bubbles out, and now there are some dark streaks more noticeable at night. Not sure why unless I damaged the paper. My biggest worry was how it would look from the outside. From the outside you can't even tell (I have newly installed pella windows). At night, you cannot see more than a faint, black shadow, even when right up against the glass. This was important bc I'm using this in a street-facing bathroom that has windows that go down to the floor 🫠.
