This privacy film is fantastic! I can see out during the day and it keeps the sun from blaring in too. From the outside, you cannot see in during the day. The windows are no longer hot, so it’s doing its job on heat control. From the outside, my windows look like a beautiful mirror! The tools that came with the product are an added bonus. The only negative was I couldn’t get the stickers to work removing the backing from the film. That was a little tricky, but not enough to say it was impossible. Applying the film was very easy, and the included cutting tool made it look like it was professionally installed. I highly recommend this product!

So first off I'd like to say I really like the pattern on this window film and it's just as easy to install as any other window film I've done. The triangle pattern is so beautiful and fits our room's aesthetic really well. We installed it in our room to add privacy for changing since you can see the neighbor's house from our window. (See pictures) It provides the perfect amount of privacy for us without having to have a curtain and lets in so much natural light (great for our plants and our working space)! We even got rid of our curtains because of it! I love when the sunlight hits that window near the end of the day and makes rainbows in the room. Here's where our only problem lies with this particular film and we wanted to just warn others ahead of time about this specific situation... GET THE FILM TO FIT THE ENTIRE LENGTH OF THE WINDOW! So this film comes in a couple of different lengths and sizes. We decided we could save some money and have enough film if we just made two rows of film on each window. That's where our problem began... The issue is the pattern on the triangles repeats itself in the middle of the pattern and not very often, so matching the pattern on the seam was very difficult and wasteful since we had to move the film up or down 12 inches to match it. For the second half of the windows, we were patching together the film to have the pattern right and even ended up cutting 40 individual triangles out at the end to make a new pattern because we ran out of film and couldn't get the pattern to match up anymore... The adhesion is fine on the sections with the bigger pieces of film, but those individual triangles we put in have the corners peeling off every once in a while. A job that took us 30-40 minutes to complete with another film pattern on another window turned into a whole afternoon situation. Never again will I buy film that doesn't fit the window!! I didn't knock a star because I don't think the company expects people to use two layers next to each other, but I wish the pattern was cut to repeat nicely...

I put minimal effort into this, tbh. I skimmed the directions, spritzed the window, and voila = magic! I didnt even manage to order the right size, but it was easy to cut and fill in. I’m not a DIY-er, so I’m super happy with how great these look! I can have natural light AND privacy in my office ❤️

It looks super easy; it's not. If you have a partner who makes life easier for you and doesn't make projects WORSE by pretending they know more than they do or criticizing every third step in the process, this would benefit from an extra set of hands. That said? The blackout film does absolutely black out; I got the one with the flowers. You cant really see the pattern because it really blacks out ALL light and you cannot see through it. Decreases the room temperature on those super hot days by a significantly noticeable difference. Also got the mirrored version for our sliding glass door. This was an exercise in frustration to get the film up and I invented about 15 new cusswords in the process HOWEVER. That room was unbearable in the summer and it reduced the temp by at least 10 degrees, made a simple fan enough to make the room comfortable and bonus it reduced the glare on the tv. All around, worth the effort to install. One thing: the first company sent a squeegee that was useful. This company sends a tiny piece of junk with a self-assemble handle and it is NOT helpful. Save yourself a few new cusswords and go buy a full sized squeegee and one of the 3-4 inch squeegees that actually fit your hand. It's obvious this company qas trying to make something that shipped easily but they ended up putting it in a bigger tube anyway so they didnt save anything and made their product less useful.

I used it in my bathroom-- super easy to cut/install, very pretty, bright colors/casts pretty rainbows across the room when the sun hits it and it does it's job well. A little see-through but it distorts the image well enough that unless someone comes right up to the bathroom window they won't be able to see inside at all. Easy to clean with a wet wipe or washcloth; the little grooves in the vinyl hold a bit of dust but not much at all and it wipes right off.

Welp. Was very excited and waited a couple days for this to arrive. It’s now 12:09 AM took me about two hours to do two sliding glass windows. My biggest fear was that it was going on backwards cause it was very shiny. I read the directions. I watched a YouTube video straight from the actual seller not some random YouTuber and it ended up on backwards and now it’s ruined and I have to tear it off and buy a new one. I’m not too sure how this window tint would hold up in the weather on the outside of the sliding glass door, but I would imagine it would not hold up well against the sun. Will be buying from a different retailer.

I've used this film before for windows, as well as the fully translucent, rainbow-making version. I ordered film to cover an entire sliding door and discovered that this film really doesn't work at all for that. The material is too thin and application becomes impossible - while you try to remove the backing on one side, the other side curls in, when you try to remove the backing on the other corner, the first corner curls in and sticks to itself. This causes wrinkles in the film that turn into harsh lines and are visible from the outside, making it ugly. Then, the weight of the film pulls it out of place while you're working on it. While you try to fix one area, the window dries and the film sticks in the wrong spot. All I ended up with was a misaligned, ugly mess and a fully wasted roll. Despite this, I will say that on smaller windows this product works well. It really is impossible to see through during the day (even if its cloudy). It slightly darkens the view and makes it blue-tinged, but you truly forget its there if there's no window to compare it with.
