This is a fun hand held game with many older, retro games such as donkey Kong. The graphics are pretty good for a small game. It's rechargable and can give up to 6 hrs of game play. It has thousands of games loaded. Some are easier to find and play than others, and has tha capability to use an SD card. It was fun playing around with it. The buttons and paddles did alot and were a little hard for an adult hand but my grandson caught on quickly. My main problem with this is that it is very hard to save a game that you are playing. Some games weren't able to be saved. It is fun though for the price, especially for a young person ... show more

Ordered first time, didn’t come with sd card so it was unusable, returned it and received the second one and also didn’t come with the advertised 126 gb sd card. Used my computer downloaded software and games and installed it. Turned on and made noise but the screen was broken. Do not waist your time or money on these. Returned the second one and go no refund ... show more

This small handheld gaming device packs a lot of content into such a small body. If I had to guess I would say there are at least a couple thousand games preloaded onto this device and it comes with the capability to add an extra SD card to add more games and do even more emulation if you know how to set that sort of thing up with this type of device- something I do not know how to do, unfortunately. It is amazing to me that a device with so much content can be priced so low. I was able to play games from my childhood that I thought I would never get to play again. Titles like Pokemon yellow, and Mario were welcome blasts from the past. As for its functionality, it starts up very quickly and is fairly easy to navigate for the first time even without looking at a manual. The screen is surprisingly clear and detailed, as well. I did find the controls somewhat hard to use, though. They pack a lot of different finger and thumb controls into such a small device. The back paddles were especially hard for me to use with my adult sized hands. A child may have better luck though. With so much content preloaded, I think this is a great value and I would recommend it to anyone who likes to play games now or has ever liked to play games in the past. I'm sure just about anyone could find something they would like to play on this device. Other attractive specs are its massive storage possibilities and a durable and easy to use body/case which further make this a great buy. I think the only people who wouldn't find a fun time with this are those that are only interested in the most modern, hi def, and cutting edge games, as well as people who simply don't like fun. I’m still not sure what to make of the RS36S retro handheld game console. It reminds me a bit of the old Gameboy, and while I plan to gift it to a young family member next year for her birthday, I had to do some homework first. I’m not a gamer, so this was a learning curve — and a steep one. After spending quite a bit of time figuring out how it works, I managed to try three games. I didn’t exactly excel at any of them, but I did have some fun, and I can see how this would be entertaining for kids, especially on long car rides. The biggest hurdle was figuring out which buttons did what — the layout isn’t intuitive, and the user manual didn’t help much. That said, the graphics were surprisingly good. The console boasts 128GB of storage and includes a staggering 21,128 games, supporting everything from 8-bit to 64-bit classics. I didn’t scroll through all 21,128 titles, but I did recognize quite a few retro gems. It comes with a 3.5-inch screen, USB charging cable, wipes, a protective screen cover, and a user manual (which could use a rewrite). My main concern was battery life — it dropped from 60% to 22% in just 20 minutes. That’s a pretty steep decline. Still, for what it is, the RS36S delivers on its promise: it’s entertaining, nostalgic, and packed with content.
