I brought this set for my 2014 Acura ILX (dynamic model) and l have to say they were an exact fit and look great. This set came with the front and rear ceramic brake pads with rubberized shims as well as the drilled and slotted zinc plated rotors which look sharp especially on the vehicle. If you're a do it yourselfer like I am, then make sure you have your special tools, cleaner, grease, loctite etc. I have to say after the break-in, it had great stopping power. I will definitely be purchasing this brand in the future. Update: 03/17/2019 So, I love this brakes and rotors set which is still going strong. Lighty appling the brakes still gives me that wonderful stopping power and this is coming from a speed junky who uses those brake a lot. Also, another plus is that you can have these slotted/drilled rotor turned unlike most that can't. The ceramic pads are still holding up so far with even wear. I found no grooving or warping of the pads or rotors. I highly recommend this brake set. Just remember to take every step with the right tools to do everything right if you're a do it yourselfer and you will have that wonderful stopping power as well. Update: 01/12/2020 Quick and simple update. Still going stong just like the day I installed them and still has that clean even wear on both pads and rotors. As said before, I still high recommend. Updated: 09/13/2023 Another short and sweet update. The same brakes and rotors are still going strong with even wear and no issues. I'm down to about 60% brake pad and the stopping power is still 100% there. I definitely recommend purchasing this brake and rotor set, as they still work great for me. Final Update: 03/14/2025 So, inspectiing my brakes, I was going to replace the front pads, but since they seem to have about 50% of pad left, I decided to waited a little longer to replace them. It has been over 7 years and all rotors look great and the rear brakes still had a lot of pad left. I'm so very glad I found and purchased this brake and rotor kit. So my final comment on this product is that R1 concept has proven to me that they have a great quality, affordable, and definitely very durable product. If you are looking for long lasting brakes with stopping power for your vehicle, then I really recommend this brake and rotor set. Well, I hope this novel of a review helped ya! I bought this set back in January of 2022 and already my rear brake pads have had to be replaced. The front I feel are going to be next. Usually Brake pads I have bought last at least a year. Very disappointed. update 11/09 Do not waste your money on this. I already had to replace the front rotors and brake pads. I didn't get a full year on this.
