    • Warped after 500 miles
Literally my first time writing a review/rant. Bought these because I've heard good things, they look beautiful out of the box. Installed on 05 Gx470 and break in procedure performed. First few weeks right passenger side clicked loudly. My mechanic couldnt figure it out, reached out to tech support who said that was normal and to perform break in again. Still same sound afterwards. Replaced calipers and hubs, now 200 miles later, steering wheel vibrates pretty bad when braking, sound is gone. Rotors seem to be warped. Amazon refered me to R1, R1 referred me to Amazon lol so no replacement or refund. ... show more

    • The Rotors warped after 4 months.
These were expensive and were made to not warp. Only a few month of having them on the car and they warped. I haven’t been doing excessive amounts of driving. Not sure if I got a bad set or if it’s a bad product. Either way I’m not happy with them. To make things worse the seller won’t return my emails. ... show more

    • Full replacement within 20k miles.
Full regret. The R1 brake pads hemorrhaged brake dust like nothing I've ever used before.. swapped those out in the first thousand miles x4. Here I am 16k miles later and opting for a full swap for warping on both of my front rotors and I'm not willing to take a chance on that happening on the rear.
