These brakes provide better stopping power than normal rotors and pads. My mechanic told me as much when he as installing them and I could tell as soon as I drove the car. I did not mention anything about that to my wife and she came back after driving it and said, "These new brakes are really sensitive." So it's definitely a difference that you can feel. I didn't realize how much the reduced heat matters until talking to my mechanic about it and it's apparently a big deal. The rotors also look much nicer on the vehicle than normal rotors. Have only been driving on them for a week, but very happy so far and I saved a lot of money. The cheapest rotors and pads at brick and mortar auto parts retailers would have cost a lot more than these and these are better quality. Amazon wins again! ... show more

Installed rotors and pads last night, great quality and perfect fit. Easy install if you have done rotor and pad swaps before. Seated in well this morning, very good grab and stopping power so far after only 10-15 miles and will probably continue to improve.

So far, initial install and the first 200 miles have been great. 2006 Range Rover Sport HSE. I had a cheap set from another brand last fall and the rotors had burs and required honing to even use, anyway a caliber failed and finished one off. Good riddance. After that experience, I hesitated with my purchase and would have went with a more know popular brand that cost more than double however, they were not in stock so I gambled. These guys, for under $150 are great. No vibration, noise, or issues. Highly recommend. Time and miles will tell the rest of the story. ... show more

I bought this item almost a month ago and I can say that the discs have come out very well. The problem is the pads, which started making a squealing noise. I removed them and sanded them again, and for a week they didn't make any noise, but after that week they started making that squealing noise again. Put on my Nissan Titan Pro-4X in about 3 hours. Unbolted the heavy cast iron ones, put these together and bolted on. A shop wanted $500 plus to change my rotors. No way! No chatter, No squeaks Had on for about 6 months and working as expected. Will know when I change the pads if these need to be changed again. I am from the old school of disc grinding.
