One of the dangle-y things was broken in transit, i just hot glued/super glued it back together, and you cant even tell, because of the distressed finish. I used 6 40 W LED lights and it's probably too bright, but I did not have a dimmer installed. I have 12' ceilings and was worried I wouldn't have enough chain, but there was extra. For the price I was worried it would look cheap, but it is gorgeous. I'm an interior designer, and I had a fancy pants client who had a real antique candelabra chandelier that had been wired in this century (or last) to have electrical, and the wires were on the outside of it, so that doesn't bother me; it looks authentic. This light fixture was a complete bust. Color was not at all similar to photos. I ordered Persian White which in the photos looked like it had touches of silver. The fixture that was delivered was all ivory paint with globs of paint all over. It looked like a 6 yr old had gone crazy with the spray paint. Lamp had "chippy" feel that instead just looked cheap and junky. Fixture is very spindly and seems unbalanced. Some of the arms were bent. We haven't hung this yet...waiting for the electrician. However, a few things you should know. This does not come with chain or a ceiling plate as shown on the picture. Also, the wiring for this light is on the outside of the arms. Once it's hung you probably won't notice it...that's what I'm hoping. Otherwise it is as shown. I like the shabby-chic look of it. I purchased this light fixture for my bedroom. The shape is perfect for my needs; it's open and airy. However, it's not at all the color that it appears in the photo. In the photo, it looks quite silvery, with some burnished and highlighted areas. In reality, it's a rustic, farmhouse white color. Not a smooth color, but rough and weathered looking. That was not at all the color I was looking for. But instead of returning it and looking for another fixture, I took some art brushes and metallic paint to it.     • Too cheap, distressed and flimsy to pass for shabby chic.
We wanted to make it work but the perfect size and style could not mask the flaws and poor craftsmanship. The large wire loops are unevenly spaced and bent causing various heights. Paint was chipped when we unpacked it and chunks fell off while we installed. One upper "branch" that holds a pendant was missing. It looked like it had broken off before being boxed Doesn't hang straight because the center shaft is crooked. We have installed many light fixtures~all of these obstacles were product related.
