Bought my daughter and I Quip brushes for traveling. It worked great, for the first 3 months, but then it stopped working. I contacted Quip and they told us that the seller wasn't an authorized seller and they wouldn't honor the warranty. I contacted Amazon and they said that to contact the seller. The seller sent me back to Amazon. Eventually, Amazon gave me a credit for the toothbrush, but it was very frustrating to be put in the middle as a consumer. I feel Amazon should have ensured that the seller was authorized or it should have been disclosed at the time of purchase that my toothbrush would not be covered under Quip's warranty. I wanted a travel toothbrush that was similar to the cleaning I get with my regular electric toothbrush at home. Although the Quip Is a nice design and and looks cool it did not have the oomph I had hoped for. It is more like a very cool, hip toothbrush for travel.

    • Not your usual electric toothbrush!

These are very sleek toothbrushes that aren’t an eyesore in a toothbrush holder if you’ve got your bathroom remodeled to look “high end”. However, it’s unlike any electric toothbrush I’ve ever used and honestly not sure what to think about it. It doesn’t “articulate” like an electric toothbrush, it vibrates. I suppose that does provide some benefit, but unlike an articulating brush head that brushes over a small area, you have to provide that coverage… the vibration from the head isn’t sweeping over the small area, it just vibrates where it’s placed. One thing I do like about the quip is that the vibration pauses a second or two to let you know it’s time to move to another area (right outer, left outer, right inner, left inner, etc), so it helps ensure you brush adequately across the whole mouth. Also has a tongue scraper on backside of the brush head. Not quite sure if my review here makes a lot of sense to those not having experienced the Quip, but it’s hard to describe those differences. ... show more

First I had to get used to the vibration. I'm now loving this product. It cleans your teeth great and the 2 minute timer is perfect. It's also very lightweight. I love the color too.
