  • Absolute junk.
Color: Beige
Within weeks the tie-down tabs ripped out of the cover. This allowed the wind to blow it over and destroyed the metal support tubes. The strings included disintegrated immediately in the sun and had to be replaced with paracord. Do not waste your money on it unless it's for one time use in areas without possibility of any inclement weather. Update: after submitting this review the seller contacted me to try and rectify the situation. They sent me all new support tubes and a new cover to replace the damaged one. I have not had the time to get it back up yet but hopefully it will last longer this time. Thanks for sending the new parts! ... show more

  • Nice size
Color: Silver Gray
Easy to put up by myself. Just don't like the corners flaps as they do not cover greatly, the wind blows them too open.

  • Good temporary shelter. Dont put anything valuable under it.
Color: White
Came in 3 large boxes. It took me, by myself, about 5 hours to assemble, in a steady wind. Id recommend, laying out the whole kit, making sure you have everything, and it'll speed assembly. Assembly roof, and 1 side of legs, and attach roof tarp. Using a step ladder, raise from middle, and rest on stepladder, while you put in end legs, then do middle 2. Attach side tarps at bottom outside corners to keep from blowing around, then work corners inward. The end tarps share the tiedowns on the side, but the top triangle gets their own. Its important too note, if its windy, you should get the corner tie downs, on, BEFORE you start the sides. Unless its anchored, its want to fly away! Over all, Decent quality tarps, a few miss made rivets, but no big deal. I bought the 13x20, so theres plenty of room to open doors, or fit some outdoor equipment in here as well. Update: 11/11/21 Well... I had it anchored down on 4 corners, with spiral anchors and I had 8, 100lb sandbags on lower legs. Had a storm last night and although it didnt move, it collapsed, bending majority of pipes and really badly messed up my pristine, 78 Camaro. Like it probably did 10k in damages. So, it lasted barely 2 months. It was my fault thinking it was safe too put something valuable under it. It was sold as "car shelter". Id say, we had 40mph winds. So, it cant handle wind and collaped under its own weight. Id say ok for temp shelter, for things like lawn equipment and such, but definitely not a vehicle shelter. Now, I need too find a good bodyshop... ... show more

  • How to Assemble + Tips/Tricks to Watch Out For (Lengthy Read) --> AVOID!!!!
Color: White
The media could not be loaded. 3/20/23 Update: Well that did not last! The car port got destroyed by snow fall! You read correctly. The aluminum posts are 38mm (1.5" width) which is hardly "heavy duty". The whole thing lasted me less than 2 years, the tie downs are flimsy as hell, the bands used to tie down the canvas rip out if there's 20 mph winds far too easily and the metal posts walls are so thin (8mm) that they can be bent by hand if you apply enough pressure. I'm at the point of scrapping the whole thing, building a wooden frame shed and calling it a day. It'll cost me double the original cost BUT I won't have the headache associated! That being said, if you're still intent on spending money needless, continue reading below for tips and tricks Since doing this write up I'm going back to amend + give you some suggestions on how to deal with Customer Service: Directions: - Lay out your poles and everything like in the image above. - Get the A-frame portion (without lower poles) assembled first - Throw and affix the tent cover on the A-Frame & anchor it with the bungee cords. Do not skimp, do every hole - Move the finished A-Frame directly on the spot you intend to raise it up on. - Affix the corner poles first (1 side then the other) - Affix the center poles next - If you did what I did, you'll have had the cross braces (bottom portions running lengthwise bolted together already Suggestions: - If you're in an area where winds are occasionally 15+ MPH, invest in solid anchors (something you can concrete into the ground OR really deep corkscrew anchors. DO NOT SKIMP OUT or use the anchors provided, they're worthless - If you're handy with a welder and beyond the 1-year warranty, weld the joints of the poles at the bottom of the A-frame that connect to the walls. These things are aluminum, thin walled and WILL shear/bend without support The only major draw back of this tent is the lack of instructions & thin walled poles which do bend/break with one storm. My Customer Service Experience: I purchased this November 2021 and it's been standing since except for till today 2/18/22 when we got blasted with a warm winter/spring evening with lots of wind ~20 MPH. Even with me spending $100 on 8 anchors and using ratchet straps looped through the inside to pull this thing down, it was not enough. It's not 5:57am, I had to drag the tent which got thrown like a rag doll into the street & into my project car. The poles on one side (all 4) are sheared off/bent beyond repair & one ripped right through the entire canopy. I sent an email to Customer Service via the Amazon link. From what other people have said, they're really responsive and want pictures of the damage along with a list of items you need and they'll take care of it. When I get the new parts I intend on going back and pouring cement into the ground and anchoring these tie downs more securely than merely corkscrew style anchors (15" spiral anchors from Lowes). Unfortunately that's the only wany to secure/ensure this thing isn't going anywhere. ... show more

  • Could use design improvements
Color: White
I have previously purchased the 10x20ft and “upgraded” to the 13x20. I live in an area where strong wind storms are always a worry. The way this tent roof flaps lack the ability to be secured like the smaller model, allows high winds to literally pour water inside. This has lead to a lot of my gear being damaged. That aside, when my tent became damaged by the storms Ivy worked with me every step of the way to get me replacement panels. Ivy’s customer service is right on point with what one expects Customer Service to be. Great job Ivy! ... show more
