  • High quality
Style: window sidewall Color: White
Extremely easy to assemble. High quality materials. I added corkscrew ground hooks to the anchor ropes due to loose soil. Great value for the price. - J Houston

  • Good purchase, easy to reinforce and erect
Style: no sidewall Color: White
I love this carport. Easy set up, I can even get full size pickup with roof rack under it- I wasn’t expecting that. It is nicely heavy duty, but let me give you some pointer so that the wind does not ruin your purchase in very short order, because I will if you don’t take an hour to add some reinforcements. Drill through the joints and add 2’x1/4” hex bolts (like the ones that come with it that attach the feet) You could also add self-tapping metal screws in some less important places. Do not rely on the snap through buttons to hold it all together long term. Also use weights on the corners , and beefier ground ties in the ground than the ‘tent spikes’ that come with it. Those are worthless, as are the snap through buttons. I used 14” long lag bolts, drove in to the ground with an impact wrench. I will be adding some arch supports as well soon ( 1/2” aluminum angle metal) to add more beef. The canopy is strong and heavy duty as it is, but high winds will pick it up - so whenever you need to, fold the canopy over to one end, it only takes ten minutes. And add the extra bolts, weights and tie downs for regular use and you will see it will last a very long time and keep itself together.g ... show more

  • They DO NOT honor 50% lifetime replacement parts, want you to buy a new product!
Style: no sidewall Color: White
Quick takeaways (it's a long review but likely worth your time): 1) See title, quoted emails below. 2) I agree with other reviews, the steel is not as strong as you think! 3) I also had slight trouble putting it together the first time with a few parts machined slightly off. 4) If you have any wind, it will win! I had large foot long stakes (not the tiny ones they include) in the 4 corners and that didn't work. Needs cement tether or other. I rarely write reviews, they have to be outstanding or horrible, sad to say this is the latter. I bought this May 2020, but didn't even open it during the pandemic summer of 2020. We finally setup our quictent carport early summer 2021 (inconveniently after our 1 year warranty) and we have horrible winds each morning. I tried to protect and secure the carport on the side of the house but the wind won and dumped it over the neighbors fence. The three poles across the top completely bent and a couple legs were damaged. See pictures. Firstly, if you call their number which I did multiple times over a couple weeks, nobody ever answers. The voicemail directs you to email them, which I finally did. Their first response was: "We are sorry to hear that your item was broken. In fact, we don't have separate parts for your item and we will try to send the parts to you next week." Which I now believe was a lie, because after a week they said: "We are sorry to tell you that we don't have the parts for you now. In this situation, if you want to buy a new item directly, we would like to apply for a discount for you." I replied, there is no rush, within the next couple months is fine, I want replacement parts, not a replacement tent. After all, they expected to have my parts a week later the first time, right? I can wait a week or two. Their reply: "In this situation, we will arrange to send them to you when we have the parts. Your understanding is highly appreciated." To their credit, they were always very kind... I only waited another 5 weeks, not the 2 months I claimed but I suspected something was fishy or I had been forgotten (it had been 6 weeks since my first email and 8 weeks since I first called) so I emailed them again and said, it's been a month, do you have spare parts now? To which they replied: "You may know due to the epidemic, so many parts will not be delivered to our warehouse in the USA in time from China and you know our items are made in China. Hope you can understand. But we have some entire items in our other warehouse, so we suggest that you buy a new item directly." Then a day later: "We are sorry to tell you that we still don't have separate parts for this carport. We checked your order information and you bought it last May and the item passed its one-year warranty. If you are willing to buy a new item directly, we will just charge you $150.00 for it inducing the shipping cost. Do you think it's ok? You may know the price of the item is $199.99 now." They have tried to sell me a new product three times now! So apparently "Lifetime Parts Supply (50% OFF)" means purchasing an entirely new carport?!? Good customer service would be within a week or two, and opening the carport they want to sell me and and sending me just the replacement parts I need at the 50% claimed discount. Even BETTER customer service would be trusting me that I didn't even open it for a year and still honor my 1 year warranty, but all of that is clearly too much to ask in this day and age. I'm a reasonable dude, and try to be understanding and patient but I will likely never give this company more of my money and want others to know what to expect if the wind wins and you need replacement parts. Apparently I have a really expensive large white tarp now... ... show more

  • Updated review. Cannot disassemble. But ultimately the product is fine.
Style: no sidewall Color: White
The original review is below. This was all caused because the manual was not updated when they change the product. The original manual shows holes and corresponding push button snaps used to assemble the pieces. The parts did not come with holes or push button tabs. Apparently you have to jam the parts together and then the will hold, "permanently". Another words, once assembled, you cannot disassemble it to drive it to another location. At least it will be very difficult to do so. To me, this is not an improvement in design, just a way to save manufacturing costs. Also be aware, you pay for shipping if you need to return it. For me, that would have been $280 UPS ground shipping. Other than that, the product itself is fine and works as expected. All this grief seen below caused by someone at the factory was to lazy to update the manual. Their customer servers was willing to work through the problem to the end. They did not ignore any of my emails. Original review: "Parts delivered do not assemble together because of defects in the parts. Button snaps are missing from the tubs and connectors lack holes for the button snaps. Further, I have to pay for return shipping, which because of the weights will cost as much as the product. Clearly this company is a total rip off,. They planned it so that they don't have to pay for the return of their defective products. UPS estimates it will cost $280 to return a $175 product. What a scam!" ... show more
