I've bought several carports, different brands/cost For the cost, this one has the sturdiest frame and the cable reinforcements add to it. All parts were in the box (not always the case!) and it included tie-down ropes. The anchors are small, if in a sandy area you'll need bigger anchors. Only thing to watch for- be sure to put the cable ends for the crossover cable around the pipes before connecting the frame together. This is a sturdy well built carport, very pleased.

I just got done installing it with my 17 year old daughter helping and it took us about an hour. You really cant beat it for the price. The only thing I can say is make sure you anchor it down well.

First, as I went to install the poles, one was bent. I messaged the seller and they kindly asked for a photo to send me out a new pole. We ended up putting it together with the bent one and we lashed two whole sides of this to walls. I rent out the back of my house and it’s got a driveway but no carport, so I was able to completely tie down this tent. The back and a long side were against an L of walls, and every pole was strapped to the metal bars of my fence and to the gable along the whole side of the house. My husband and I went on a cheap trip for our health where we were gone a few weeks. While we were gone the monsoons hit Arizona. Well needless to say we did not get the healing we needed or time to relax. We ended up coming home at the end of august because our renter called me and at first I didn’t believe him. This tent not only snapped a TON of connectors it was tied down with(supplied by the company) which at least didn’t rip out my sturdy fence, not only yanked up chunks of concrete on the non-wall side where we used stakes, not only stressed the gables of the house as it FLEW away, but also it somehow FLOATED ITSELF ONTO MY ROOF, *punched holes in the roof*, *banged into my brand new air conditioner and bent the whole side*, ripped off a vent fan I had to take down\bend back into shape\get back up into the roof and attach… the rains made my roof leak once it had HOLES in it, and now I need to get ceiling repair in my living room and put fans in my attic to prevent mold. What?! What!? How is this happening?!!! After rolling around my roof for a while then blowing all the way over the house into the pool and one of the legs scraping up my pebbletec, with one of the legs coming down so hard so close to a giant window it scratched it, just barely not putting the leg straight through one of our biggest windows, I had to try to climb up onto my patio roof to unseat a leg that had punched between tiles, the whole thing at that point wedged between parts of my roof and pool and window and bent so many ways it was already shaped like a W, and when I got it unlatched the whole thing crumpled into the pool like a tin can. It’s completely unrecognizable and I was almost strangled by the tent top when trying to untangle it from the twisted mass of metal so I could get this massive mess out of my pool and to stop punching holes in my roof and yard with its bent parts. We are literally having to put off the solar panels we were saving up to get in Jan because of how much money I’m having to put into house repairs over this debacle. I’m absolutely never buying a tent carport ever again. It would have been cheaper for me to spend thousands of dollars on a pergola!! My brand new house, I never even thought I’d get a house and now it’s so damaged and hurt, my heart is heavy :( and it’s just adding insult to injury that we had passed the 30 day prime return window literally the day this thing roly polied it’s way over my fence and up my roof, through my roof/patio/AC/living room/gables, bringing drips into my living room, probably damaging my chimney… I’ve spent the last few weeks going up on my house trying to fix it, and just realized I should probably post a review for anyone else in areas with monsoons. I mean it when I say a 2-3k pergola or extended roof section would have been less costly for me than this… this thing I have flashbacks about now. We are super sad about this whole thing, I’ve cried multiple times and apologized over and over to my husband for offering our renter a parking tent and ruining our budget for the next year. Summary: this thing went for a hike on my roof and did a ton of damage to my house from wind even though it was very very tied down. It would have been cheaper to drop thousands of dollars on a solid pergola. My roof is damaged, my AC is damaged, my vent fans are damaged, I’ve had water leaking in because of it, it ripped up my fence, blew back down off the roof into my pool, and barely didn’t break a huge window as it came down (partially through) the patio roof into the pool. All while very carefully tied and staked down as per instructions. We can’t afford this and it feels like an insult that we can’t at least get a refund of this couple hundred dollars since it ended up costing me so much more anyway. Our budget for the whole year is damaged, this is my biggest mistake in a long time. It didn’t even work a couple weeks and now I’ve spent weeks on my roof fixing ripped shingles and bent metal- I never could have expected this thing to snap itself off the mounts on the ground and fly up to roll around my roof. I would not recommend people in Phoenix/AZ buy this. Our monsoons are incompatible with the product.

Very and very impressed with the support. Never had this kind of support from any sellers with products made in China sold on Amazon. I called the support number and the machine went on, did not leave any message. To my surprise BLAIR called back though she could not answer my questions but she took note and sent it to the other. Next day JASMINE emailed me with an instructional video. I set it up all by myself except for moving the frame from my driveway to the side of my house. Need at least 4 persons for moving. I tied all the footing to concrete with 1/4inx1in hex head lag screws and 1/4inx1in lag shields. The job should be easier with a hammer drill which I do not have. I tied the posts to the side wall. The tent will stay and will not go during Santa Ana wind (I live in Southern California). Just had the system up for a few days, my gut feeling is it should last long at least structure, as to the tent I expect it should last 2 - 3 years. Overall happy with the purchase and specifically customer service.

So far so good. Fairly easy to assemble, seems pretty sturdy. Only came with 8 small stakes for pole feet, I reinforced with rebar stakes and extra line.

I took it down and stored the canopy, frame, and my boat over winter, but for 2 summer seasons now have used this canopy as my "boat garage" for 18 ft. Lund. If I didn't need the room to push snow I probably could have just taken the canopy/cover off and left the frame up, but it's pretty easy assembly and take down, and even easier the second time around. However, instead of using the thin, stretchy rope and little "anchors" it comes with what I did was buy some of the bigger corkscrew anchors made for a dog chain/rope and anchored the sides and corners to those using ratchet straps. I wrapped the upper end of the side ratchet straps right around the roof/side bar "T" connectors (go under the canopy overhang). It's held up through some pretty good T-storms and winds so far, so I recommend getting better/bigger/longer anchors and using ratchet straps, which you should still occasionally check and may need to adjust the tension after it's been up a while.

Its unfortunate that when I purchased the canopy I was under the impression that the insurance being offered was in some how connected to Quictent, but I quickly learned they are two separate businesses. I purchased the three year protection plan and when I needed a replacement cover due to damages, I never received a response from the Insurance company after several attempts. Quictent should consider offering their customers a disclaimer that in no way are the connected to any insurance plan being offered.
