I have a cosmetology license but never really used it, but when I couldn’t afford those nice expensive flat iron I would check out different brands and see if they can handle the test. I have thick hair and it’s med course, and this is perfect for straightening, and great for all curls. And this flat iron makes the best beach waves or even that cool flapper hair. This is the best flat iron for the price. And it’s dropped a few times and super strong. I highly recommend. This will pass the test from fine to coarse hair. Different levels of heat and hot is HOT! I will definitely purchase again. Easy to use and Great styling tool.

I’ve had this iron for almost 2 years and it’s held up so well with almost everyday use. It heats up very quickly and both straightens and curls beautifully. It has a nice locking feature where the base of the cord attachment twists so it travels nicely. I’ve carted it all over in bags and it’s still working perfectly. I like the different temperature options. Only problem is that when I curl one side of my hair with how I twist it the iron locks itself. It’s yet to bite down on my hair too badly, though, and it’s mostly operator error. Great deal for the price, well worth it.

This is a very good hair iron. I rate it 4 stars because of the on/off button's location- it is where I hold it, is it just me? But I've pressed on/off inadvertently while using it. Overall, satisfied, works well. Lightweight. Bought for a travel abroad.

Purchased this straightener for my bangs and it works great. I have also found it works great for curls as well. It's about the standard straightener length, but the thinner 1" plates work especially well for tighter curls and styling bangs. Heats up quicky and I appreciate the auto-shutoff for ease of mind.

Got it for my daughter for Christmas because she wanted to see what she would look like without curls. We tried it right away and had no issues. The paper instructions it comes with just basically tells you how to turn it on and off and how to change the settings as well as how to lock it closed. I do wish it would have given temp instructions for different types of hair but that’s ok google assisted with that part. The purple color is so pretty, the design is sleek, the glove and clips it comes with super helpful and the outcome of straightening her hair was beautiful.
