I bought this to use as a controller for a radio controlled excavator model that I built. It uses the bluetooth interface to sync up with an ESP32. It was a real pain to get it to sync up but eventually it did and now it seems to be working flawlessly. For the price it is proving to be an excellent controller. A few notes that will be of interest for anyone buying this to replace a PS4 controller: First, it has a different front USB port than the original PS4 controller. It is a USB-C instead of the micro USB found on the original. Second, it seems to have come fully calibrated which was unexpected and very nice. I connected it to a controller tester and both sticks were perfectly centered with less than 1% circularity error with very little jitter. It is actually better in that regard than either of the Dual Shock controllers that came with my PS4. Finally, it has a very nice feel to it. It is effectively identical to the dual shock controllers in feel with the exception of the PS4 button which feels just a tiny bit cheaper on this controller. Considering how rarely that button is used it is well worth the 75% savings over an original controller in my opinion. If you are looking for a good, inexpensive replacement for your dying PS4 controller I can wholeheartedly recommend this controller. It is a really good controller in every regard and it is an outstanding value. I highly recommend it!

Worked well for about 2 months of light gameplay, then R2 button slowly started to feel mushy. After a few days of this mushy feeling, R2 no longer registers input.

I got this for my autistic son who loves breaking his ps4 controllers a lot 🥲 and the quality of this controller is really good, the battery last a long time and it has a usb C charger and it charge pretty quick too. So far it’s been almost a month with it and he loves it and the functionality is good for the price. Plus it’s better than other controllers we bought before and specially better compatibility than other brands. So if you want something for a reasonable price, good battery life and quality I would recommend this. Specially if you have little destroyers at home. 😅
