First time building a bed frame myself, was not easy! I’m not building inclined. A lot of the holes were not drilled all the way or were not even with the other side. Had to fix that, also the headboard is adjustable but you can’t adjust it after you tighten the screws, you would need to pull the bed out and unscrew and take the headboard off, etc. LOOK AT THE MANUAL. It shows where to adjust according to your mattress height! The wooden slats are very easily breakable. Be careful not to step on those at any point. I’ve seen thicker wooden slats with other bed frames that hold very well. These are not those! This bed frame is so cute but I wouldn’t but it again. I hope this helps with some decisions. ... show more
