This is made of fake wood. Literally fell apart during the final steps of assembly. I might yank it apart to send it back for $2000. Trash that looks cheap and is built to fall apart. I’m afraid to allow someone to use it. Embarrassing crap.

My biggest complaints are how it was shipped in 2 ridiculously heavy boxes. My brother and I struggled to get them up my outside condo staircase (because they were delivered at the bottom and not at the top on the landing). Without ropes and ingenuity they would not have made it in before a storm was expected. Website said person needed to be present and sign, but they arrived without notification and were just left at the base on my staircase without a signature. Once in condo, we used furniture moving slides to get it in the desired room. The final result is beautiful. I hired a professional handyman. Directions said 2.5 hours with 2 people. It took him 3.5 hours independently. He said directions straight forward. We wasn’t happy with mounting hardware and used something stronger he had on hand.

I’m very happy with the Lori bed and mattress. Bought a Queen vertical model in Natural finish. I strongly recommend considering this product as a unique and quality option in the wall bed market. I appreciate bed and casing are made entirely of solid wood which results in a very stable sleeping platform. I’m 74 years old and I assembled bed by myself without difficulty. Product is packaged well and delivered without damage. All parts are clearly labeled and all connectors are individually packaged. Instructions are intuitive and easy to follow. End result is a very beautiful and stable unit. Some considerations: a) shipping boxes (bed 2; mattress 1) are HEAVY so a strong helper is a good idea; b) there are 83 connector screws to insert; I elected to use a power drill on the lowest setting to set screws just before colllar hit wood surface (be careful) and finished tightening by hand which sacked my arthritic wrists; c) make sure screwdriver head fits screw slots so you don’t stop them; d) align the mattress anchors “inboard” to avoid scratching inside of casing when fitting raised platform (I found instruction pictures in manual confusing); and e) the bed with mattress are HEAVY so you’ll need Hercules or better two reasonably strong people to lift and lower.

Terrible design. Way too hard to fold down with a 14 inch thick queen size mattress. What were the designers thinking? I'm a fit, healthy man, and I can barely fold it down and lift it up. My wife can't at all. This thing is dangerous.

The media could not be loaded. We are very happy with the quality of the Lori bed. We took our time assembling it. Overall pretty easy to put together. Some gentle persuasion was needed to get the pins in the cams with the rubber mallet. But then it went together nicely. Text support felt like they were right here helping us. The video and written instructions were very clear and helpful. One very nice surprise was the cams were already installed. (The video showed they had to be installed and aligned right the first time cause they can't be removed) The room will be used as a combination sewing/craft and guest space. Thank you!
