This twin mattress is very comfortable and supportive. The memory foam with pocket springs gives a nice balance of softness and firmness, and it really helps with pressure relief and spinal alignment. I also like that it stays cool throughout the night. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it took a couple of days to fully expand and air out after unboxing. Overall, a great mattress for the price!

Setup and Initial Experience The mattress expansion process was remarkably efficient, inflating to full size almost immediately upon unboxing. While allowing a 6-hour airing period for good measure, the mattress appeared ready for use much sooner. Most importantly, there were no lingering chemical odors commonly associated with compressed foam mattresses, eliminating concerns about off-gassing in a child's bedroom. Child Sleep Quality Impact The most significant indicator of success came from improved sleep patterns. A three-year-old who previously experienced frequent nighttime disruptions began sleeping through the night consistently on this mattress. This dramatic improvement in sleep quality suggests the mattress provides appropriate support and comfort for growing children, making it a clear upgrade from the previous sleeping surface. Adult Perspective on Support From an adult standpoint, the support level feels softer than ideal for mature sleep preferences. However, this characteristic appears perfectly suited for children's lighter weight and different support needs. This mattress arrived in a smaller rectangular box than expected. Once removing the mattress roll from the box, it was a nice touch that a tool was included to slice the outer wrap without damaging the mattress fabric by mistake. Once I sliced the outer wrapping of the roll, the mattress started slowly expanding. Slicing the inner plastic wrapping caused the mattress to expand very quickly and it was up to full size almost immediately. There was little to no chemical smell, which is always a risk in these bed in a box products, so that was nice. The mattress itself looks great, and has thoughtful touches like thick fabric straps on the sides that make it easy to move. Laying on it, it was immediately obvious that this was a much firmer mattress than expected. The springs are quite firm, and each spring is a wider diameter than another mattress we have (that cost almost 3x as much), so there are less springs overall with firmer resistance here, and it seems to hamper the weight distribution, preventing it from molding to your body in higher resolution. The cooling top layer definitely is felt when laying on it, as that's a pleasing first impression. In the end, the unexpected extra firmness and limited contouring to body curves prevented this mattress from making our five star list, and the seemingly cheaper coil count (with much firmer coils) just made this feel like a less-than mattress. The other mattress I referenced is an Awara and it is amazing, but also literally almost 3x as much money. However, for something used as frequently as a mattress and so important for restful sleep, I think it's worth paying the extra dough to get that.

We got this for my toddler who has been sleeping on a $200 memory foam mattress for the last 6 months. I ever found the memory foam that comfortable and he had been waking up drenched in sweat due to it not being breathable. This mattress was a game changer. First off, don’t open it near anyone or anything. I made the mistake of thinking my toddler and baby would listen and stay on the other side of the room when I began cutting the plastic off the rolled up mattress. It quickly began to shoot open and I dove on top of it while my wife picked up the kids before I could let it go and it fully expanded rapidly. But man is this thing comfortable. It’s soft but firm enough to provide support with its springs. There was no chemical smell at all and it plumped up within a couple hours. TLDR: My toddler now has the most comfortable bed in the house and it has my wife and I are contemplating replacing our 5 year old Purple mattress. Overall, very happy with it and it’s a great choice and value for the money. I’ll update this review if anything changes.
