My first instinct was to get an extra soft mattress. BF suggested we should get medium soft because our dogs sleep with us. So, I ordered this one. 14 inch version. So far, both of us have slept very well on this bed for the past month. It stays pretty cool, which is a plus because we got dogs and cats sleeping with us. We are both about 160 pounds each. One of the main indicators that this mattress is good for us is the fact that we sleep very well through the night and we don't feel any sore or anything in the morning. Both bf and I are side sleepers. Which means on most mattresses our arm on the lower side would be numb when we wake up. But somehow with this mattress both of us feel fine. We've had this mattress a little over a month now. I wanted to wait a while before reviewing to give an honest review. For the money this is an excellent memory foam mattress. It's just memory foam though, so don't expect anything spectacular. I've had softer mattresses and firmer ones, this one is middle of the road. It's comfortable, the memory foam is very responsive to weight and once you get up the mattress returns to its normal size. I don't wake up hot due to the mattress getting hot, it also does a great job at not transferring weight, I can get in and out of bed and never wake my wife. For the money this is a fine product. We bought the 14in King, neither one of us are "small" for our size lol but the mattress accommodates us very well. I was worried that we would feel the frame beneath us after laying on the mattress for a while but that's not the case. Even after sleeping on it all night there's still a solid 6 inches between us and frame. I will say that once you take it out of the packaging, give it a fu 48 to 72 hrs to fully inflate and get to its correct size and spongy "ness" . I slept on mine the first night and it was not comfortable, quite rigid actually, but after 3 days it was a totally different mattress. Would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a king or queen memory foam on a budget. ... show more

On the firm side. The mattress eventually molds to your body but it is firm. Fortunately I already had a really nice, gel, 2 “ pad and it has saved the day. I do find that the mattress retains body heat but it’s winter here, so it works for me.

I am happy with this mattress. It is much easier to handle comparing with the traditional one. It just took me less than five minutes to unpack it and put it in the upper stair bedroom. The inflating took several days and have not noticed any odd smell. The size I got is the queen, just fits my queen size frame. It is medium firm, very comfortable to sleep on top of it. The only minus is that the corners of the soft fabric cover did not fit too well, but not an issue. Overall, worth the money. ... show more

I purchased the king after back surgery and it is so comfortable! It helped relieve my back pain and I sleep like a baby. When laying in bed I don’t get woken up when my husband comes to bed as my side doesn’t move when he gets into bed or when he is tossing and turning in bed. I have found that I can fall asleep faster and stay asleep since getting this mattress. It’s so comfortable I ended up buying 2 of the queen beds also 1 for my spare bedroom and 1 for my daughter for her new apartment. I get many compliments from my guests saying it’s the best nights sleep they have had in awhile. I purchased this mattress in January 2023. Upon arrival I was happy with the convenience of delivery, the size, and how plush it felt. Although, almost a year later and this mattress has completely sunken in where I sleep every night. It almost feels like a hammock at this point. I feel like a turtle stuck on it's back trying to get out of bed because it has sunken so much. I am not a heavy person. I weigh 115lb. If you only need a mattress for a year, then sure, buy this.
