The media could not be loaded. I wanted a firm but supportive mattress and this is it! It has the perfect firmness that I want, as I don't want to sink into a mattress and feel as though its swallowing me, but also not too hard that its like laying on a board. This mattress is really supportive and I found that I no longer wake up with should, hip and back pain. The mattress came vacuum sealed and I would recommend 2 people putting this on the frame as it does have some weight to it. Once I had it on my frame, I just opened the plastic. I did allow a full 2 days for this to open to its full size, I went out of town after I had this on my frame. There was no plastic smell on the mattress even when I opened it and when I came back home. While I do have a mattress cover on it, there still is no smell to it. I personally found this to be at about the 14 inch mark too. Not to mention, when I sit on the side of the bed, I don't feel like it hurts or that I'm sliding off of it either. Wake up feeling as though I got a good nights sleep too!

As soon as it was removed from its container and started to grow, I decided to let it sit for the day so that it could completely take form. It had attained a comfortable thickness and hardness level by the evening, to the point where it did not seem excessively soft or unyieldingly rigid. The equilibrium that I had been looking for was finally found. Despite the fact that I didn't anticipate much of a change the first night, I was taken aback by how comfortably I slept without having to continually move myself. Prior to purchasing this mattress, my previous bed often caused me to wake up numerous times during the night as a result of the movements of my spouse and other people. The most important aspect of this hybrid model that I have enjoyed is the way in which it reduces the amount of disruptions. Despite the fact that one of us is shifting, the other one is little influenced by it. The motion isolation effect has resulted in an overall improvement in the quality of our slumber. It is now possible for both of us to sleep through the night without being jolted awake. Over the course of the previous two weeks, I've also seen that I wake up feeling less exhausted and more refreshed than I did initially. As a result of the degree of support it provides, it seems to assist in more evenly distributing body pressure. As someone who alternates between sleeping on my back and my side, I have found that having that amount of support has been helpful in preventing the "numb shoulder" sensation that I used to get when I woke up in the morning. Rather than being just an item that I need, it has evolved into something that I look forward to utilizing each and every night.

I got this queen hybrid mattress about 12 weeks ago to replace my old spring mattress and overall I’m pretty happy with it. The combination of pocket coils and memory foam gives good support without feeling too firm or too soft. My partner and I don’t feel each other moving around at night which was a big issue with our previous mattress, so the motion isolation really works. The gel memory foam does seem to help with temperature - I used to wake up sweating but that’s been much less of a problem with this one. The knit top feels nice and breathable, definitely better than the synthetic cover on my last mattress. Setup was straightforward once it was delivered, though it took almost 4 days to fully expand instead of the 2-3 days they mentioned, so be patient with that process. The 14-inch thickness gives it a nice substantial feel and the blue and black trim looks decent in my bedroom. However, I’ve noticed some slight sagging already where I sleep most nights, nothing major but you can see the impression forming after just 3 months of use. Also the edges aren’t as supportive as I’d like - when I sit on the side to put on shoes it compresses quite a bit. The memory foam layer is thinner than I expected based on the description, maybe 2-3 inches total. For the price point it’s comfortable and doing the job, just hope the sagging doesn’t get worse over time.
