The bed frame came earlier than expected. The box came a little beat up, probably because it is pretty heavy. The product itself is built well and was not too bad to put together. Took 2 people about 1.5 hours. Was worried about the strength of the pistons and if they would be able to hold up a king mattress (they were kind of small). Was pleasantly surprised to find that they had no problem holding the mattress up. The frame is sturdy and well built. There is a ton of storage space underneath. Especially great if you vacuum seal bags of clothes. Overall very pleased with this product. Worth the $. Will probably update the review in a couple months after living with it.

Amazon just asked me how the ease of assembly was for this. Made me laugh. It was an absolute nightmare to put together. Heavy and awkward. And do not try and move this thing on it's side. The top sprung open and gave my friend a bloody nose. That said, once it's together and set in place it's absolutely lovely. And in this case, all that heavy and awkward equates out to a very sturdy and well made product. It's been a game changer in terms of storage. I put all my Christmas decorations under there, and all my extra bedding and still have so much extra room. I might need to buy more Christmas decorations to fill this thing up. I'd say well worth the trouble it was to put this together. One thing to consider, is the top is pretty heavy with the mattress on when you lift it up. The mechanism is pretty awesome and does the bulk of the lifting, but I'm disabled and have struggled with it before. If you have a hard time lifting heavy objects, this might not be the most convenient bed frame option.

Good for the price. Construction was easy. With a mattress on top, the lift stays fairly well, though I wonder how it will hold up over time. It does take some muscle to get up, but that makes sense considering the weight of a bed. I will say the pre-assembled foot of the frame was a little off-center, leaving 1/8-1/4 of an inch between the metal and the composite. Enough that I noticed it while putting together, but i don’t think anyone else will now that it’s complete. Just a QC issue that’s disappointing but somewhat understandable given the price. Would recommend for an affordable bed for those looking for extra storage space. This for sure gives us more storage than built-in drawers would have, just a little less accessible, which we knew going in. It’s holding up well for the month we’ve had it with two larger than average people sleeping on it every night; no squeaks or loosening so far.

The media could not be loaded. If I could give 6 I would! This bed was easy to put together. It came with clear instructions. I love how much storage I have underneath while the box frame of the bed which keep everything hidden.it looks amazing and great quality. It’s not loud when lifting or lowering the bed and it’s not squeaky. The height is perfect. And I definitely love the price. All of the other beds were great, but I did not want one with the headboard. This one was perfect for the price and $100 cheaper than any other one I found.

Just received it today and it took me 1 1/2 hours to put it together myself. It’s not difficult at all just make sure you follow the instructions because they are accurate. Used to tools that it came with. With I had drill attachment for my power drill so it would have been easier on my hands but it really wasn’t that bad. Finally organization under the bed and everything is obtainable without pulling everything out and fighting to get it all back under the bed. No issues operating it and it feels comfortable.

This item helps so much with our small apartment. We barely have space in this place, so it lets us store stuff underneath. Unlike the sliding draws, we can make the most of all the room under it. However, I don’t think the hydraulic pump is strong enough for our mattress and us. We tested it and it worked, but when we laid on it, it no longer pumped up and held itself up anymore. Because of this, I can no longer lift up the bed myself, and I have to wait until my husband gets home to help. My husband says sometimes it squeaks. And sometimes the mattress gets stuck i think? for example, I think there was 2 times he went to lift the bed but ended up lifting the whole frame too but realized early what was happening. Set it back down and tried again and it worked. I do like the frame. Its very nice and helps a ton. There is a small gap in the frame under the bed— near the floor. It helps me shove in this one particular wire i keep tripping on. Putting it together was pretty simple. It’s a fun team work project. The only tricky part is near the pump. Just take it slow and you’ll get it. Also lifting the frame for the first time when checking it without the mattress is going to be tough. Very tight, so it needs some muscle. I would really suggest 2 people work on this. Especially to hold the frame up just in case. I give it 3 stars mainly because of the pump issue we have. I am not “Mom-Strong”. I have tried to lift it myself, but it’s way too heavy for my short behind— and I am pretty sure the old mattress is not making it easier. Overall its a great bed frame!

I needed to replace a bed in my slide room,but needed a short queen. I also wanted extra storage space and this was a perfect choice. I installed wheels under the bottom corners and center supports and blocked up the upper corners to the same height and I got the perfect replacement. Could not be happier.
