The product has a manufacturing defect. Two of the legs of the frame buckled under and ripped through the frame. We have stood them back up in the photo but you can see where the screw tore through when it originally collapsed. The wooden beams are now the primary support and they do not touch the metal frame. Because the wooden beams do not have support (as seen in photo) if anyone tries to sit or lay down the beams they creek as they are unable to distribute weight. Initially I loved this frame and was so happy with the purchase. I’ve had basic frames before that cost a fraction of the price but lasted years. I really like this bed, it’s modern, the color is just as it was pictured, easy to assemble(it took about 1 hour by myself), the headboard is a really soft material & it’s super sturdy. There’s also no weird odors on the material. Overall a nice bed for the price. The only downside I would say is it’s a little low to the ground, but I don’t mind it too much. Black bed frame for a full size bed. It took me about an hour to put together. I will say even with looking at the booklet it came with and all the tools and bolts I still got it wrong the first time lol. I put the 4 sides on backwards and when I was almost done I thought I was missing pieces and that's when a light bulb went off in my head. I realized I put all of the sides of the bed on backwards. So once I got it all straighten out the rest was easy and it was sturdy and looks great for my daughter's room. It fit very nicely in her bedroom and is very easy to move. I put this bed together for my 15 year old. It took me about 45 minutes, the directions are very simple to follow. The bed looks very nice and my daughter loves the bed…I would say this bed is suitable for teens or smaller people, the wood slats that support the mattress are about a half inch thick.
