I purchased this costumes for my 6 year old boy. He is a big ninja fan and was thrilled to dress like one. Admittedly it is not that high quality and probably won't last, but it does look cool and durability is not what we are looking for in costumes anyway. I got it for $15 which is a reasonable pricing. One little complaint is that you can't really place the ninja sword as shown in the pictures. I sew 2 loops at the back of the costumes to hold the plastic ninja swords my son have. The costume is fine - typical kids costume material that runs easily, but the overall look is good. The sizing is way off! The 1st time I ordered a large, one size larger than the size chart suggested. It is supposed to be fit up to 58" and 100 pounds. My son is 54" and 74 pounds and it was way to small! The pant leg ended above his ankle and the velcro that sits at the top by his shoulders gaped open. ... show more

    • Cute costume, sizing a little off.
I ordered this for my 7 year old and he loves it. The sizing chart seems to be a bit off, so I made sure to buy the larger size, just in case. My son is 53" tall and wears a boys, size 10 (US) pants, the large regular fit perfectly, pant legs went to the backs of his heels and will lay nicely on his shoes. The size chart on the back of the package calls for a 'small' for a person who is 53" tall, this obviously wouldn't have worked. Go with the number sizes (6-8), (8-10), (10-12), etc and go with the larger size and you will be pleased. ... show more

I bought a small (6-8) for my 5yr old son because I read reviews that stated it ran small. He is about average height, he is thin, not a stick with broad shoulders. So When you take it out the legs look long but they are fitting so they go above his feet and do not drag. Its does fit him very well though. Not super tight, if he was 8 it wouldn't fit him or would be a tight fit. Noted the material is very thin like the costumes you find in the store, a soft stretchy material. But it looked really great on him. It looks like it will hold up for Halloween and also play time after the holiday. I like the fact that the face mask comes off, so he won't have the issues at school (no masks). Also the hood is attached to the one piece body suit. Belt, face mask, and stars can come off. I bought a Ninja sword to go with it. Plus had a bonus Ninja figurine toy with it that my son loved. It was great quality for approx $17 w/free shipping.     • Way better than other inexpensive ninja costumes
My small six year old fit the small perfectly. It has the perfect amount of details and color. I am also comparing it to the ninja costume my other six year old picked out that is boring, even cheaper looking and doesn't even have a face mask but rather a scarf that doesn't stay up like a mask. So, in comparison, thsi costume is amazing. LOL The mask is like a surgical mask and stays put very well, the stitching design on the chest is cool and the red ties add a little pop of color. ... show more

Ordered this item Monday, delivered Tuesday (thanks, Amazon Prime!). My son LOVES it. It's a typical polyester costume, so not super durable for long-term use. My son is 6.5 years old and on the small side of average for size. We ordered the S(6-8) size and it just fits him. I would definitely order bigger because this might run a bit small. This costume comes with a small ninja figurine as well, which was added bonus. I priced the same costume at a local Halloween store and it was much more expensive. The costume package & contents are identical to what was at the Halloween store. I do have to say that the small face mask is kind of awkward and annoying, as it just ties behind their head to cover their mouth. Overall this is a great deal and a fun costume. ... show more

I bought the large. My son is a size 8 slim and I still pull in 4 to 5 notches in his pants. (He is very slim) It fits him like a shirt. (He is using his under pants and that's all underneath) P.S we live in warm climate so we can pull that off but if you are living in 4 season weather, I would advise to get a larger size so thermals can fit in it as well. This will be a one time use outfit. His cousin will be using it next year. :) Over all he loves it and that is what counts. I'm a very happy Mom.... ... show more
