This is the perfect size and thickness. It offers just the right amount of memory foam so that I can sleep on my side and not wake up with my shoulders aching. And it’s not so thick that I think down and have difficulty getting out of my bed. Once it was opened and released from its vacuum seal, it didn’t take very long for it to open up and inflate itself completely. The removable mattress cover was already on the mattress. I would definitely recommend doing this with several hours before using the mattress or have the ability to open windows. These memory foam mattresses need to “off gas” and release some odors that come from the chemicals used to make the foam. I love the mattress cover on this. It has a nonslip side that stays put up against my regular mattress. The side that is closest to my sheet is extremely soft. It also has an adjustable elastic strap at each of the corners. This is awesome because I can strap it under my main mattress and it will remain in place much better than without straps. The straps are adjustable so they will fit on a number of different size mattresses as well. The mattress cover in cases the foam mattress in entirety. There is a zipper that goes around three of the four sides. You can launder the mattress cover.

My sons mattress had a bad dip in it and he could not afford a new one. Picked this one up and his mattress is like new. It came compactly packed and almost immediately bounced into full height and shape. It provide great support for his over 6’ 225lb. body and is soft and comfortable. No need for new sheets as his regular ones still fit. There was no funny smell and it does not make him hot at night. Super easy to add life and comfort to an older or cheaper mattress.

I am the type of person who runs warm, sometimes even hot while sleeping. However, since having this mattress topper, I no longer wake up in the middle of the night because I'm overheated. This mattress topper not only keeps me cool but I also found that I don't sweat as much as I used to while sleeping. Before I would wake up with my sheets and pillow wet. Since having this mattress topper, I still sweat a little but not enough that it looks like I showered in bed. This topper not only made my mattress more comfortable but found that it feels as though it molds to my body and is really supportive during the night. I wake up with less aches and pains too. My mattress is almost 10 years old now, but it was top of the line back then so I wanted to extend its live. My friend recommended to get this topper instead of getting a whole new mattress. This was a fraction of the cost. We got the cal king and it matches exactly in dimension. The memory foam gel felt nice and soft. 3” is about right since it provides enough support and cushioning without making the bed too large for fitted bed sheet. My fitted sheet was at limit once I included the topper in, so anymore thicker I would’ve had to buy new sheets. The memory foam came in a vacuum sealed bag. It also came with a letter opener to minimize the risk of cutting the bed. The bed bounce to size pretty quickly and I left it to air out overnight as I do with all vacuum sealed beds. The bed was evenly distributed and it felt as comfortable as the first day I had my cal king bed. Definitely try topper before buying a whole new bed.

The media could not be loaded. I got a new mattress a month ago, and it feels comfortable. It was a great buy. When I did open the box and pull off the plastic, it didn’t even have a smell. I gave it an hour or so to thoroughly fluff up. It felt so good to lay on this. It felt like I was lying on a cool, firm cloud. It was fully intact, with no flaws whatsoever. I mostly sleep in the same spot on my bed, but this hasn't collapsed. I don't feel like it has had any effect on the temperature.

Our current mattress is about 10 years old and definitely due for a replacement.. This topper has been a terrific temporary solution to give the much-needed support that the mattress alone cannot provide any longer. It only took a couple of hours to Shape to its maximum ability. It came very firmly vacuum sealed which helped a lot for the unpacking process. The material is breathable and soft to the touch. It forms to your body perfectly which is how it gives the great support. I no longer wake up with a sore back as I did before. We’ve had this topper for almost 3 months and I’m loving it more every day. Well worth the money!
