Description

Custom hardware keeps the bed aligned and requires only your mattress. The wood slat system, which comes in two sections, prevents motion transfer to provide individual comfort. The platform is raised 8.5 inches which allows for optional under bed storage. Four large drawers add storage functionality to the Select Platform Bed. Each large roll out drawer (38"W x 5.5"H x 23"D) offers plenty of storage space for your blankets, linens, clothes or pillows. Five caster wheels allow you to roll these extra- large drawers to reach your belongings with ease.

Product comes in 4 separate and slightly heavy boxes (4 boxes, if you ordered matching drawers; otherwise, just 2 boxes). Easy enough to assemble though it will take a couple hours to build the set. Good quality for the most part. It's not "top of the line" parts, but you certainly get what you paid for. Pro tip: assemble in the room you plan on using this frame. I would have given 5 stars, except the side boards of the bed should have been filed down smooth on the inside edges because the laminate thus ends up being sharp to the fingers when making the bed. I had to remove my mattress finally and use a file to do the job. Now I can make my bed without cutting my skin. Otherwise, I have everything good to say about the packaging, the quality of the items and the slats which are all adhered beforehand to a fabric "ribbon" thus making the slats equidistant without one having to figure it out.

I wanted to like this bed SO bad. I don’t normally leave reviews but I feel I need to warn people about this garbage bed frame!! We’ve had this bed for 3 months and after the first month it began to fall apart! The screws on the board that holds the slats complete stripped out of the particle board sides of the bed, my husband then moved the screws only to have the board snap entirely! For the record, me and my husband are average size/weight, this type of damage should not be happening. We went to Lowe’s and got a real piece of wood for the slats to lay on but this will not last since the entire frame is made from cheap particle board. I read the crappy reviews for this bed and took them in stride. Please don’t make the same mistake I did. This is an expensive piece of crap!!

We put this together last night. The metal rails are very flimsy and one did not fit correctly. I had to drill another hole to make it fit. Also we got the 4 drawer platform bed and let me say ..these drawers are HUGEEEE!. I should have got two drawers instead. Also the 4 drawers stretch all the way from top to bottom..leaving NO ROOM for adding a nightstand next to it without blocking one of the drawers on each side. I THINK they should reduce the drawer sizes some and add a piece of wood at top area so to allow for nightstands or end tables. The drawers in which I thought they were attached ARE NOT. they just roll on wheels and slide under. Also bought the headboard to match. it does not attach to the bed so FYI on that. The slats that are to be held in place by dowels..did a poor job of holding them. Kept popping off. ssooo I had to screw in a few of the boards. So this bed has a few issues but overall a nice looking bed. These pieces are VERY EASY to put together. only thing missing is stickers of the part numbers on boards. You just gotta look at pic and compare. It created slightly more work on figuring out which was the right one but..the diagrams in book were pretty good. overall simple to assemble but had some small issues i would change on design.

I’ve got to admit, I was a little terrified when I read a lot of these reviews and saw the pictures of cracked board and the slats not lining up. I decided to order it because the price was rude the looks were right and it DID have a lot of good reviews too. I was still sweating it though as I shuffled through the 1-3 star reviews and pictures! It came in faster than scheduled, took about an hour for two people to put it together WITH a drill. I was very careful using the drill as common sense told me these instructions were made for people to be using a normal hand screwdriver so if you’re using power tools keep that in mind and you will be fine, otherwise I can see why some of these negative reviews with the cracked board and stuff may have came to be. It actually is extremely sturdy and very stylish! The instructions were so easy my dog could have read it and put it together. Long story short I’m very happy with it, all components were included nothing missing, and it’s extremely sturdy and looks great! Importantly as well, it will be easy to disassemble in case of moving as well

This bed is amazing. I was able to put it together by myself, my husband works alot. Purchased the bed with drawers because our room is not the biggest so I wanted to utilize the space we had. Storage drawers are huge and they fit so much. I have alot of clothes and they don't even take up half a drawer. Installation was no bad at all. I like building stuff so it was pretty easy for me. Just tedious small screws but otherwise easy. You also don't need box springs with this frame which is great if you only already just have a mattress it sits pretty high up. Might purchase the matching headboard next.

I was very hesitant to buy this bed given the many negative reviews and should have listened to my instincts. If you want a sturdy bed that won’t fall apart - don’t buy this bed! After about three months of use I see the first issue: one of the drawers is falling apart, even though I open/close it only once a week for a change of sheets. I reached out to prepac via email to see if they will replace. ***Update: so this has taken an interesting turn. Prepac responded and advised that my bed was a return from Amazon’s warehouse and therefore not under warranty. At no time did Amazon indicate this when I ordered it - in my view this should have been clearly stated! I would advise everyone to be wary buying this bed on Amazon. BUT: kudos to prepac: they offered to replace the front drawer anyways! So excellent customer service from prepac (not so much from Amazon though)! Now I’m hoping that nothing else breaks.
