I want to make a few points, so I apologize in advance for the long review. To give you a little insight into my experience with bedding, I have a 3" memory foam pad and a 3" shredded memory foam mattress topper on my 1" plush pillow top bed. I'm a firm believer that our bed/bedroom should be a sanctuary of extreme comfort and I've worked hard, have done a lot of research, to make mine as cozy and comfortable as possible. The reviews of this Queen Rose mattress topper are very mixed, but the description and price point (great bargain!) checked all my boxes. I was looking for a non-memory foam plush pillow top mattress pad to put on top of the other pads I already have on my bed. After reading all the reviews, and the reviews of other mattress toppers, I ordered this one and kept my fingers crossed until it was delivered. As soon as I opened it I started writing this review in my head because I was so pleased with my purchase. The topper came quickly and was very nicely packaged. The outside packaging is a very thick plastic burlap-like bag that's virtually impossible to tear, which I was pleased to see because I prefer that nothing outside my home touches my bedding. Once I got the outside package open, the topper was inside a thinner plastic bag, (both were recycled as trash bags), then inside a very thick plastic vacuum sealed bag. Upon opening the vacuum seal the topper immediately started to expand. I own a lot of memory foam products so I'm used to this process, but, since this isn't memory foam, and based on some of the reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect. The instructions say to let the pad sit for 72 hours, but I didn't need to. The first thing I did was spray it with Lysol fabric spray, then I spread it out on my guest bed. About an hour later I saw that it had expanded quite a bit...it was very big and really heavy, but, per the instructions, I shoved it into my dryer to give it more fluff. Fifteen minutes later I carried it to my bedroom and started laughing when I put it on my bed because it's SO FLUFFY!! Adding this mattress topper to the 7 inches of padding already on my bed FINALLY gave me the level of plush I've been trying to achieve for a few years. My goal has been a little support with a lot of that sinking into a pillow feeling. Thanks to this amazing Queen Rose mattress topper I have the bed I've been dreaming about without spending thousands of dollars on a new mattress. I finally get to sleep on a giant marshmallow! In regards to some of the reviews... My quest for a marshmallow bed has taught me a few things. Memory foam is a wonderful thing, it is extremely comfortable, but shredded memory foam requires work - a lot of work - it requires fluffing after every use. Yes, this is a pain, but I've discovered that the comfort of memory foam is worth it. And, in regards to this Queen Rose mattress topper, while it's not memory foam, it helps to give it the same level of fluffing to make it extra comfortable. Trust me on this fact - I have a six foot shredded memory foam bean bag where I do all my reading, which is a lot, it's like sitting on a cloud, but I have to work the foam after every use in order to keep it comfortable, and it's worth the 5 minutes of maintenance. The same is true of this Queen Rose mattress topper...you can put it on your bed without expelling any energy to fluff it, or you can work the filling for a minute or two minutes and sleep like a baby on a cloud. The fit: This Queen Rose mattress topper has sturdy straps for holding it in place. They stretch quite far and fit my deep mattress (plus the extra topper padding) with no problem. I didn't need to put any muscle into pulling them down and under my mattress corners. Also, I have very deep pocket sheet and there wasn't any issue with the fit with this topper in place. In fact, I now have about 9" of padding on my mattress and my deep pocket sheets fit without any slipping or noticeable difference at the corners. If you’re looking to add extra plush and comfort to your mattress, this Queen Rose plush pillow topper is a game changer. It will add comfort and incredible coziness to your bed. It fits great, it is well made, it's very soft to the touch and the price point makes it a no-brainer. I absolutely, without hesitation, recommend this mattress topper. Sweet dreams!

I just had surgery so I had to have my daughter help me but otherwise I could’ve done all by myself. Took out of the thick burlap sack and plastic bags which loved as I knew it was protected. I put straight in dryer on Time dry on Low for 20 minutes, then with my daughters help since I just had surgery she helped me fluff on both ends and then I put it on which was a breeze. It fits perfectly and stays on and has not come off unlike what others say. Nice and cooling which I love. Definitely fluffy and thick and it poofed up a lot very nice and my husband and I slept absolutely amazing. Absolutely love it.

This was an absolutely perfect mattress topper and we found it made a huge difference when using it with a tough blow up mattress but unfortunately the threads in the straps started unraveling quickly and it would not stay on the mattress. I'm certain it's just a unique defect because the item has so many other great reviews so we have returned it and plan on re ordering it. There was no smell in the packaging, the mattress topper was super thick and comfortable, and overall I do think it's fabulous value for money. Photo to show how thick and fluffy it is - keep in mind though this was folded in half.

I’m a college student and originally I had a foam topper but it just wasn’t doing it for me anymore and when searching for a new mattress topper I came across this one. Now at first I was on the fence with buying it because it is on the pricey side but I went ahead and bought it and I honestly have no regrets. The topper is sooo comfortable and it makes my hard dorm bed feel like a top quality mattress. It’s so soft and thick and the sleep I get is amazing it literally feels like I’m sleeping on a cloud!

Update: Yeah, just as I thought: replacement pad was just a repeat of the first. Thin, not filled pad that was fuller in some areas and really thin in others, making it lumpy. Also not very breathable (as I tried the first pad to see if it was better than it appeared). I gave the replacement 4 days to fluff up and it's STILL thin like the first. Also, it only took a day for the top corner of the pad to start curling upward (the side I sit up in bed most)... so it's constantly pulling my sheet off the corner. Which is saying a lot since I have really deep fitted sheets with elastic all the way around (not just the corners). Basically, now I have 2 of these pads that are worthless. I should have just sprung for a 3 inch memory foam topper. Would have been the same price range as this horrible product. This thing is NOT worth $70 Original Review: I thought he bad reviews were a fluke... but, there's no way this is worth even $40. I agree with someone else who likened this to just laying on a comforter. The advertising must be some other brands photo, because it is not what I received... the ad shows seriously FULLY STUFFED topper... what I got? This has got to be a joke! And yes, I gave it over 24 hours to "fluff up." There's no way this thing is going to fluff any bigger than the photos, because all the pockets are literally mostly AIR with little filling (lots of sagging edges cause no filling! On top of that, it's not even equally filled, making it more lumpy than "like sleeping on a cloud," like they claim. Some pockets have more stuffing while others have barely anything. I complained to Amazon about false advertising. They are making a report. They're also issuing me a replacement, but I'm pretty sure it's going to be a repeat of what I got. They must have "paid" for a lot of these "great reviews," cause this thing is cheap and serves no real purpose. The ONLY positive things I can say is it was true to Queen size and the straps actually fit around my 15-16 inch mattress.
