  • Nice quality for the price!

  • Great scope for the price!
Another one of those, " best bang for the buck" scopes! this 4-12x40AO is just what my Winchester 1400cs needed. It's being capable of 100yard+ shots makes this scope downright handy for an older shooter. Or one that's steadfast about shot placement at longer ranges. Great field of view with this one's 40mm objective. clear as crystal too. When I combined it with the Instapark 5-bolt mount, I go the perfect set up for my 1400cs and it's lil mule recoil. This scope has taken all the abuse that Winchester can dish up. So it should do perfectly on your air rifle. These scopes really are designed to take all the abuse a break barrel air rifle can dish up! Combined with the great field of view on this 40mm objective and you have a really nice scope you'll enjoy for years to come. ... show more

  • Good bang for your buck.
Overall, a good scope for the money. Would definitely recommend, with one setback. First, the scope is of a good quality. I would say a step or two above the factory scopes that come with pellet guns from factory. Glass is clear, and the reticle is nice. The magnification ring is easy to use, so is the parallax and eye focus rings. the capped hand adjustable turrets are nice. They are not that fine or nice, as they were a but mushy when adjusting. For the money, the turrets are good and solid. The scope holds zero, which is what matters as I use this for rodent and pest control. The scope came in with some parts on it loose, but just hand tightening those parts did the trick. The biggest issue I have with the scope is the mount. Maybe it was not intended for a break barrel pellet gun. I don't know. But the scope mount would slip on the dovetail grooves (when shooting) no matter how tight I mount it. My solution to that would be buy a scope mount, which is what I will do to resolve that issue. ... show more

  • Returned - Wandering ZERO: I'll Try Another One - If No Joy - Return That One Too
This scope has great clarity and a very nice reticle. It worked great for 25 - 30 shots (see photographs). Then the shots began wander all over the place. The first sighting in group is circled with a dime (to the left of the right target). The scope was adjusted and were hitting on the mark. In the second photograph the right target contains 8 initial shots. Another 5 shots were fired through the same impact points. This is not about my marksmanship. The rifle was steadied and properly supported for all of these rounds. The next day, just to be sure several rounds were fired at the target on the left. After the first shot they were all over the place. ... show more

  • Tough
These can handle nasty springer recoil and will make even cheap springers shoot much better groups.

  • Good scope, clear, clear in low light, for the price not to bad.
First things first. When I got to the range and was attempting to sight the scope in, the elivation would only turn 10 clicks ether way out if the box. Luckily I had tools in my range bag. When adjusting the turret cap came off of what it was attached to on the scope. Not enough glue on the threads of the adjustment knob. So like I said it would only turn 10 clicks both ways. I took the turret out of the scope and reinstalled it, AT THE RANGE. It took me about an hour to get the turret back in the scope set and was able to use the scope. FINALY. I know wrighting it down in a review doesn't make it sound like that bad of a product. But it wouldn't track correctly at first then as I started adjusting it all came together. This was almost a 3 hour ordeal just to get it to start working correctly. After I left the range that day the scope worked. Most annoying thing I have ever felt with with a scope. I use it on an umarex octane .22. Took it squirrel hunting had to go back to the range and change pellets so i had to re zero naturally the pellets wernt the same weight and one was a round nose and the second is a hollow point. But when i went and re zeroed with the hollow points it sighted in with ease. So i bought the 3-9 version. Havnt used it yet but bottom line after the agonizing beginning I was actually satisfied enough to purchase another. 3 stars is all I could give it. Take a chance for the price people seam to be having good luck with it. So yea it's worth it. ... show more

  • Replacement Item Review
Was fantastic the first 4 days of use and then would not hold it's zero. " Could not get it back zeroed in." This was what I wanted while it worked just didn't last long at all. I mounted the replacement this morning. First thing I noticed was the same issue with the scope mount. It slips on the dovetail grooves. I cured that with some clear 2 sided tape. Last time it slipped back and sliced off the stop pin on my gun and the stop pin on the mount would not work because of the placement of the pin, " to far forward on the mount ". I fired off 25 pellets this morning and all seems well so far. Am using the scope on a " Beeman Teton .22 cal. Gas Ram ". Will update in 1 week from today, 7-19-18. 7/29/18 Things are working great! Am still having an issue with the mount slipping, But, Hammer's is working with me on that at no cost to me! The scope is holding its zero. Would recommend this scope to anyone with a springer air gun! And it has a life time warranty. ... show more

  • Handles nitro piston airgun shock.
It seems to be holding up again the shock of a nitro piston air gun. This double shock kills many scopes.
