I love this bed I got it for me and my husbands place. It’s super soft and wasn’t hard to assemble you just got to push things in the right place sometimes to align the screw holes. The box is VERY heavy but once we got it I set the whole thing up by myself. Took me about 2 hours Id say. Some people complained about the size of it but I think it’s perfect and looks huge in our place. The velvet it’s super soft too I like this bed a lot. ... show more

The bed itself is fine. It's the instructions and cartoon pictures in the instructions that will aggravate you. The screws supplied are labeled in such a way that you better remove them and put them in labeled containers prior to assembly. Overall it will take you about 3 hours to assembe the bed with the hand twist Allan wrench. The bed is very nice as far as materials go. FINALLY... FINALLY... FINALLY... Yesterday I finally finished putting the bed together. It took me 4 days (3 hours each) to figure it out. The first page of directions are great. Then the next page makes no sense in relationship to the rest. I had to walk away. I had to put things together and take them apart due to the directions. Usually I get it right away, no problem. My handiman couldn't figure it out either. If he couldn't figure it out and I had to pay him by the hour, it would have cost me more than the bed. The last two pages of the instructions make sense. So now it's finally together. It looks nice. I didn't need a box spring and like the height of the bed. I love the bed and look forward to it making my bedroom nice and giving me many nights of a good sleep. I would buy the bed again but beg the seller to make the instructions, especialliy the corners and the side rails easier, better illustrations. Thank you. ... show more
