Love our new guest bed. It took us about 4 hours to put together and a few of the steps needed a little more instruction, better pictures. But my husband figured it out and we were on our way. The bed finish has a little brown grain to it, which I love!! Fits my room design. Love the little drawer for storing pillows, blankets and extras for company. I like it. Only thing is some pieces were forced. But its very heavy and very good if you like your space. I used if I wanted to sleep in living room. Trying to get it out of apartment is going to be a problem. I wonder if it have to take it apart

If I could I would probably give this bed a 3.5 star but decided to round up. The assembly was a bit time consuming - took my husband over a full day to assemble which I did not expect. Once set up, I found you have to think a bit about how to close it. The locking mechanism is only on one side which doesn't feel fully sturdy. The bed platform does not roll out well on the carpet. All that said, though, we have had a number of guests sleep on it and really no complaints. The teens who sleep over really enjoy the USB port on the side. One kid did say it was odd waking up with the shelf above their head. But for the price we paid, it is pretty good! ... show more

Assembly is no joke but once together it’s a sturdy little unit. Purchased a tri-fold 4 inch mattress and it folds up perfectly when storing the bed. Good value when comparing to similar styles.

Perfect for a guest room bed in a small room. Very difficult to assemble for one person but my son did it! The instructions say it is easier with two…and that is correct.

This Murphy cabinet style bed came on time and in good condition. All the parts were included. It’s a bit intimidating because there are so many parts. It took me a few sessions to assemble, but there were no real problems. I’m a 77 year old woman with a bad back so I took it in short bits of time. I only needed help one time when attaching a piece that had several dowels and anchored pieces (6 to 10) on it. I needed help to lift and align it. Be careful to read and follow the instructions (sometimes the view of a step can be flopped)! The bed looks great and seems sturdy. *I haven’t tried laying down on it yet though because the mattress I ordered was lost in transit and I’m waiting for a replacement. ... show more
