I'm a little leery of leaving a review so early, as we've had the mattress around a month or less. But if it stays like it is now I can honestly report that it's the most comfortable sleep we've had in years. It's extra firm but not at all hard. We're both on the heavier side, so we needed something that wasn't going to start to sink like quicksand after only a few night's sleep. So far, every night has felt like the first night we slept on it. We can roll over without feeling like we were climbing uphill. No "hammock" effect. We can sit on the side of the bed without sinking and sliding off. It conforms to the body but doesn't sink. It has completely alleviated the pain I had in one side of my neck for months previous to buying it. We did let it decompress for the full 72 hours before sleeping on it. I honestly believe that helped to fully expand the inside of the bed that you can't see or measure. And since we are a little heavier, I wanted the internal parts to be fully expanded. I hope it stays this comfortable. Bedtime is my favorite time of day with a bed like this after the work days I have. I cannot recommend it strongly enough, it's perfect. ... show more

We bought a king size mattress from Costco a couple of years ago that just didn't work out. It was not nearly firm enough and started sagging in the middle. This Viscoflex mattress is an outstanding buy for the price. It is perfectly firm and has completely changed our sleep quality. The first night almost seemed a almost a little too firm (about 24 hours after opening), but it settled nicely after about 48 hours. And as others have mentioned, there is no factory smell that we've had with other mattresses. I will certainly buy this brand again if we have to replace any other mattresses. ... show more

Love the bed. It came in a tight sealed compact box and inflated as expected. It was firm and comfortable. Recently I’ve been having back issues but this mattress allowed for the best sleep that I had in months!

Mattress is very firm,hard for those who like it like that. There is no bounce, so if you drop down on it, you will be sorry. We got the14inch one and it is much higher than what we had before. Our feet hangs when sitting on the edge. You will need deep pocket sheets .I suggest getting the 10 or 12inch. The box is very heavy. We use 2 people to roll it out on the bed and we used it less than 24hrs. I did noticed that after 24 hrs,it was much firmer and the edges doesn't sink when you sit on it. Overall great but very very hard, but comfy. Hubby snoring improved with the new mattress. ... show more

I have only had the mattress for a few days but so far it is a great mattress. It is a little firmer than I expected but still feels very comfortable. It sits really high. I thought because I only had a mattress on my bed frame that I would below to the ground but absolutely not. I actually have to jump up a little to get in the bed as I am 5’3”. The best value for my the money. It cost me $327 but I feel like it was worth $1500. Some reviews said it had an odor when first opening but that was not the case for me there was no odor at all. Easy to use and setup. The only thing i was disappointed about is that I thought the mat would continue to warm without being plugged up. I was looking for warmer that didn’t require to be continuously plugged into an electrical socket.
