After one day. So far so good. The mattress is mostly springs. The top section of the mattress that is between two hems that is greyblue is not just foam but is still mostly 98% spring. I can't say that there is much foam at all there. So, the product photos on Amazon made it look like there were was much more foam. What I'm looking for is support like a half filled air mattress with a memory foam top without the flat/limp feel when moving on it or sitting on it. In essence I want the mattress to fill in the parts with support of the body where there is less mass and higher points and cushion the heavier mass and lower points of the body. So that's why I chose a hybrid mattress with individual springs. I hope to update this as I sleep on it more. However with it mostly just being springs and less foam than I thought I may have to put at least a 2-in foam topper on it. -- After 3 nights on it I had to definitely put a foam topper on it. It's a very firm mattress. I am on a solid platform. In a way I like it but it's not what I was looking for initially. ----- Okay so it's been a bit more time. I really like this mattress yet it might not be the best for me being a restless sleeper. I might need foam only. For me the spring/hybrid mattress is fun to lay on with more of a free feeling to it compared to just foam because the only foam mattresses seem to hold me more in place. However, for me that memory foam hold in place is good because I am less resless. However, the difference I feel is more push on my lower back and butt on this hybrid maybe because I'm not sinking in the same way on just foam and It took a week to get used to that. I switched back to a new foam for a night and slept really good and woke up without any issues right away. This mattress took me longer to get used to than foam. Another thing though between only foam and this hybrid is you can always add a memory foam pad to the spring/hybrid later where adding more foam pad to an only foam mattresses may be a bit too much foam. I tried it. What I do like about this mattress is the cotton covering around it and it does not smell like foam only mattresses. ---- After a bit more time, I've bounced between a foam mattress and this one and I'm reconsidering and have decided that I like this one much more because of its back support feel. I feel more aligned with this mattress.

This is my first purchase of a mattress in a box. I had watched some videos about how to safely expand the mattress and the process for this went very smoothly. It is twin size, so not that hard for me to do it by myself. I've slept on it for five nights and it great for me. I have had 4 spine surgeries and am in constant pain, so a night on a bad mattress is a dreadful experience. This is definitely what I would call a firm mattress, but for me it is perfect. It looks very well made and this 8" height with my new 14" high bed frame makes it the most comfortable and safe height for getting in and out of bed. I looked a some furniture store/mattress store mattresses that were usually 3 to 5 times the price of this one, and now that I have this one I cannot see spending what the brick & mortar stores are charging. I chose this brand based on reviews and looks like I got a winner. I immediately put a mattress cover on it, which I highly recommend. If you think you prefer a squishy mattress, then this is probably not for you, but for folks that know a firm mattress is what they need I can recommend this. This review is for the twin size, so I can't say what a larger size is like.

We’ve lived these mattresses! They’re comfortable and last a long time. They’re shipped in a box compressed and rolled up. They include a tool to unwrap them, it looks like a letter opener, use it. DO NOT try to open the wrapping with a knife or razor blade. We’ve moved twice in the past two years and it is so much easier to buy new mattresses this way than to try and move mattresses.

It right away inflated itself after being pulled out of the bag. Tip: Make sure to flip it with the name on the correct side before cutting open. It starts to inflate pretty quickly so cut it from the headboard side and pull the bag off to the end quickly after taking the seram wrap off. It measured 9" so I'm waiting a few days for it to go to its full height. The description says 48-72 hrs. So about 3 days. Overall I'm happy with the feel, look, the plush and firmness. I'll update how a night of sleep feels once I get to try it! My hand felt great over it so hoping the same! *Update: Measured 10" after a few days bit looks a bit more higher than that. I slept very comfortably; It molds to your body and goes back to its shape when you move or get off, I felt less pressure on my back compared to my other mattress underneath it and a different mattress I have been sleeping on in a different room downstairs. It feels very soft and plush, I also added a waterproof mattress protector to keep it safe from spills when family comes. I definitely recommend this mattress!!!

Delivery was excellent and on time. I was able to track the arrival of the shipment minute to minute. By viewing the map provided by amazon i knew exactly when they were pulling up to the building. The mattress was exactly as described on the site . The packaging was minimal and easy to open and after unwrapping the mattress was fully expanded in 24 hours. The mattress is firm and works well with an adjustable frame. The edge support was satisfactory. In the future, i’ll research what manufacturers are adding to create stronger edge support, The mattress has nylon handles sewn into the sides for easy handling. My friend and i aren’t the strongest guys around but that didnt matter because we were able to easily maneuver the mattress from room to room and side to side after finding the right direction for the bedframe. i encased the mattress in a bug/dust/water resistant zippered protector that I purchased separately. The protector will maintain the coverage of my warranty and was strongly suggested by the manufacturer. The twin xl mattress is an 11inch mattress thickness so it fit perfectly in a full size encasement.

I raised the sheet so you can see how it never fully expanded to fit the black, white and gray cover and it has been long enough so I seriously doubt it'll ever happen. It fits like loose skin on a puppy. Also, according to all of my queen-size sheets, it is a little off on measurements, kind of like a kid trying to wear his older brother's clothes - the fit isn't quite right. I am still adjusting to this mattress even after several nights sleeping on it. Going by the little scale they provided, I expected a medium soft mattress. It's actually more on the medium hard to hard side. I used to have plush memory foam mattress I was sleeping on and I'd wake with lower back pain and/or knee pain. I'd hoped a medium firm/slightly plush mattress would be more supportive and help with my back and knee pain. Now I'm not so sure it'll happen - but like I said, this is more of a seriously firm mattress instead of the medium-firm/slightly plush that it claims. I still wake up stiff and sore and I don't sleep through the night like I did. At most I'd give this mattress 3 stars - and that's being generous. Another issue? It arrived rolled up upside-down so I had to flip it over and unroll it at the wrong angle to have it expand with the right side of the mattress facing up. That wasn't easy but i know it would have been even harder to do after it had already expanded so I unrolled it and straightened it the best I could. It kept trying to curl under and roll back up until I cut the packing to allow air in. The only plus I can see is that it sits lower toward the floor on my partially adjustable frame than my prior 14" mattress, tho it's just as heavy. And that 11 inches claim is even more obvious bull because I had to almost climb into my 14 and this is definitely a lot more than 3 inches of difference in thickness. It's impossible to return (it's almost 100 lbs) so be sure it's what you want before purchase cuz you'll be stuck with it. Unfortunately, as of right now, I can't in good conscious recommend it. Buyer beware.
