I read the reviews concerning the firmness of this mattress, some said to soft and some said to firm. I factored in my body weight to make the final decision and bought the Queen 12-inch medium mattress. This size is marketed as medium by the company. I am in the normal weight range for my height, and I consider it a firm bed after sleeping on it, so if you are under-weight this bed will be too firm for you. As for expansion of this mattress, the company said to wait 72 hours for full expansion. I waited 6 days (144 hours) hoping it would fully expand before putting the sheets on and sleeping on it. It never fully expanded to 12 inches of thickness. It measures 11 inches exactly and 3 of the 4 corners still look deformed and not fully expanded. (See pictures). A lot of people have the idea that you get what you pay for and that is the problem, why should a company try to improve their product if everyone just excepts what they get. Well, I expect to get what was advertised no matter what the company sells it for. I expected a fully expanded 12-inch medium mattress that is not deformed on three corners. This is not the first bed in a box that I have bought, and I never had the deformed corners before. The mattress is too big to try to return, I will most likely donate it, but I will be contacting JINGWEI for some kind of compensation. I will update this review to let you know their response. **Update** JINGWEI (Comfy_Beds) responded very quickly to my inquiry and I am very satisfied with the resolution.
