This item was purchased to alleviate hip pain while sleeping on one's side. The item arrived on schedule. Please note that it weighs approximately 58 pounds. The mattress arrives very tightly rolled up. You should review and follow the easy instructions. The mattress is double-wrapped in plastic. The outer wrap has two functions. It helps protect the inner wrap and keeps the item clean and dry during shipment. A clear set of step-by-step instructions is taped to the outer wrap. It also features a large red arrow, indicating the direction the mattress should be unrolled. Also provided is a booklet with additional information and a small cutter tool for cutting the plastic. It is necessary that, as you only cut the outer plastic and unroll the mattress, you do not cut the inner plastic wrap until you have completed unrolling the mattress. The inner plastic's primary purpose is to keep the mattress from expanding. This is why you should have the mattress in its final position. As soon as you cut into the inner wrap, the mattress should start expanding to its final size. The directions state one should wait 24-48 hours before using it to give the bed springs time to adjust to their final size. Note: I waited six hours before trying it. That was my choice. But I recommend that you follow the enclosed instructions. Comfort: I can only report on the first night and overall impressions. Impressions-It is a quality product, matches the description, and was worth the price I paid. Comfort, as mentioned, I'm a side-sleeper, and suffer from hip pain. On the first night, I found it very comfortable. I was able to sleep on either side. Did the pain go away? No, not completely, but much more manageable. Granted, I didn't wait a full day before trying it. I should also state that my pain issue might be different than yours. I look forward to trying it again tonight. I am pleased with the comfort, the quality, and the value.

Good value for money. I was unsure about the vacuum sealed packaging but it expanded great once puncturing the packaging. My teen son who is 6’7 and 250 says it’s great to sleep on.

I purchased two twin xl for my husband and myself. We have adjustable bed frames. We waited till they fully rasied to 12 inches which took about 24 hrs. It is slightly firmer than we liked. So we added our mattress topper under the mattress like another customer said to do. It was a little better but not enough. So we placed the topper on top and its is perfect. Now we have the firmness under and then the soft on top. They didn't have any bad odor. They are very heavy so be careful picking up. As for working on the adjustable frame it doesn't bend with noone on it at first but does just fine with your body weight on it and it is doing better as time goes. So I would say it works just fine for them. The quality of the material is amazing for the price. I highly recommend if you need a mattress on a budget.

Perfect with a little addition. My wife and I were looking for a really soft mattress that would conform to our shape. I tried out mattresses all over town, with prices from $300.00 to $3600.00. I read several reviews about this mattress and most of them were great. However there were a few that said it was firmer than they wanted. We decided to order it anyway. When it came in I laid it on top of our guest bed to let it expand. After it expanded it seemed very soft. So we moved it to our bedframe. But when we laid on it, it seemed too firm. Then I realized that it was softer on the guest bed because it was on top of another mattress instead of the hard base of our adjustable bed frame. So I got an idea. We had one of those 3" mattress toppers. I took to mattress topper and put it UNDER the new mattress on top of the adjustable bed frame. Yes, I put it under the new mattress and that allowed the support springs inside the new mattress to sink as needed but only up to three inches. PERFECT!!! Now the mattress is perfect!

It's pretty good, but the price point reflects I suppose. Not as comfortable as expected based on reviews. it is pretty bouncy. No complaints though, we finished it with a 2" memory foam topper to solve the bounciness.
